Purchased by the latest owner in March of 2004. this Healey was lovingly restored into the perfect street daily driver car.  Mileage in 2004 was 86. 42 and is now 93. 56. and driven on the weekends to Big Sur. Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula in top down weather.  This Healey has been a pure delight to own and enjoy but now it's time for someone else to get the enjoyment from it that we've had the past almost 10 years.  No expense has been spared to make this the ultimate reliable Healey with work by the well known and well respected Antique Auto Restoration of the Monterey Peninsula.  Just 1000 miles ago they completely rebuilt the engine (full itemized invoices are available to interested parties) from the bare block up as well as going through the transmission. drive train. suspension. new stainless exhaust.  Brakes. rust repair. etc have all been done.  In fact. anything and everything to make this a super reliable driver has been done.  The only non-authentic parts used are a Petronix distributor with no points (and is that ever an improvement).  The engine is now fully broken in and is amazingly powerful.  The car rides and drives fantastic.  If you are near Carmel and are interested in the car you owe it to ourself to spend a weekend enjoying the Monterey Peninsula and checking out the car.  And if you are looking for the ultimate Healey but don't want it out of commission for a  year while the work is done (and out well over $26. 00 the last two years - all receipts available - they can be emailed or faxed - 11 pages). this is the car.   Spectacular new British Red paint job. black interior.  Car was rust repaired as needed and frame was sealed.  Chrome is original and has "pimples" from age but is nice and bright.  There are a few little detail items that need to be done like a new shifter boot but they are all very minor.  It is worth a plane ride from whereever you are to Carmel to see this car.  You won't even need to ship it home; you can drive it anywhere in the USA with no qualms.  It's better than it was the day it rolled out of a BMC showrrom.

Any serious person will have lots of questiions and would like to see more photos so please contact us via the ebay email or call me directly at my business line  503. 895. 5488 during West Coast 11-3 hours.  If you get an answering machine. well. it was a short day and I'll call back if you leave your name and number.  Check out my feedback.  I've been on eBay for a lonnnng time with thousands of positive feedback. mostly selling collectible nostalgia books like Golden Age comic books and art but I've found that whenever I had a car to sell eBay is also the place to do that and have sold 9 cars over the years through eBay. and even bought 5.  We can arrange for car cargo shipping directly from our door to yours.  Prices range based on distance and the level of service provided.  The most expensive are the high line auto shippers that transport the $2 million Cobras and Corvettes to the August Concours. Races and Auctions here. but we have equally good auto shippers we've used a dozen times that are almost half the price.  We can arrange all the details for you and get you a quote or you can arrange it all yourself and we'll deliver the car to their terminal or pickup point.

This Healey is truly one that a serious buyer will be extremely impressed with.  Thanks for your interest.  Randy B/Richard P.

Please call to arrange payment details.  Payment must be made prior to car being shipped.  Payment must be made within 7 days from close of auction or the $1000 deposit is forfeit and the car will be offered for sale again.  California "pink slip" is in hand and free and clear.  To the best of my knowledge there are no problems with the car however it is sold "as is. where is" and it is your responsibility to inspect. or have the car inspected.  There are a dozen highly respected restoration shops on the Monterey Peninsula that perform this function for buyers.  We will also crate and ship overseas at buyer's expense.  It's surprisingly inexpensive.
