California car. This is a great car that can be driven as is for many years. I shipped it here from the West Coast where it spent its first 50 years. After I went through the car mechanically I registered it and drove it 1,000 miles here in Connecticut. There were no shows last year or that number would have been much higher. I have the original buyers warranty card and owners manuel along with a new shop manuel to go with it.

This car runs great with no issues at all. At highway speeds the car doesn't wander at all and there are no rattles or vibrations either. It stops in a straight line with no drama either. It starts right up every time and settles into a nice idle. The car will easily pass inspection as all of the lights, horn, and turn signals work. There's zero rot under this car either as the pictures show.

I've installed a brand new Autolite carb with electric choke, new radiator and hoses, new rear springs and all four shocks. I upgraded the ignition system to a Pertronix electronic unit which fits under the distributer cap and their coil to go with it. They keep the look stock but make the car much more reliable and it runs so much better than the stock points and condenser ever could. There's also a complete brand new and expensive stock style aluminized exhaust system with mufflers and resonators installed on the car so it sounds like it did when new. All four tires are new also. I've replaced any dry rotted weatherstripping on the windows and trunk. The trunk is in great shape and rock solid. I was lucky to find two rear drain tubes and replaced them also. The power seats work and new leather was installed on the front seat by the previous owner which looks really nice. I found and replaced the drivers window switches with a brand new unit. There's even a new power window motor for the drivers door.

Overall this is a really nice drivers car that looks great from 10 feet away. It turns a lot of heads every time I take it out. The body has a few dings and scratches but not a single panel needs to be replaced. The top is in great shape too. If you want a show car get it painted and put a new top on it and that's it. All of the hard to find trim parts are on the car and won't need to be replaced and that goes for the chrome also.

If you'd like to see the car please let me know and I can easily arrange that. I'll also help out with the shipping anywhere by working with your shipper. Connecticut doesn't issue a title on an old car only a bill of sale but I couldn't have registered it without one.
