This rare series 1 car is now a very uncommon sight in the roads. with only a handful of these early cars surviving.

 

This example. RHD and UK registered with a current MoT. is fitted with the original period-correct Mopar 383 cubic inch (6. 3 litre) engine. driving a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic gearbox. A new Edelbrock carburettor has recently been fitted.

 

The black paintwork is in generally good condition but does have some bubbles in paintwork this could be sorted at a reasonable price over the purchase price . The chassis and under body structure are solid and rust-free. and the suspension is fitted with period-correct factory-option Selectaride dampers.

 

The only deviation from originality is the fitment of the later series five-spoke Jensen alloy wheels. These are. however. in excellent condition. and suit the car well.

 

Overall. this is a fine example of a classic gentleman's express with a desirable number plate

This vehicle comes with a comprehensive paper file . also includes original Jensen production check sheet before leaving the production line . receipts and photos showing a complete engine re-build by previous owner in 2000
