I bought this Buggy from a local area gentleman who call me on it knowing I have a collection of classics and thought it would be in my wheelhouse to use as a toy and in local parades. I drove it all summer and fall quite a bit and he was right, I had a blast driving it. Winter time is on our doorstep here in Iowa so I decided to sell it to make room in my showroom. People in town named this car my banana car and I embraced that! I bought a banana plate and costume and it brought plenty of laughs and smiles to kids in town. This VW Buggy rides awesome. It has a lot of pep to it. The engine is a Volkswagen engine ( I am assuming a 63 bug engine but I do not know for sure.) It is titled as a 63 vw. It has a clean title. The 4 speed manual trans shifts all gears like it should. The lights are working and the gauges are working. The tires are in decent shape but are getting older/showing a bit of weather checking. The engine is not leaking on the ground or anything ( I keep it in my showroom when not using it) I saw very minor oil seepage if I do not use it right away.  Nothing I would think needs addressing yet etc. The brakes stop the car fine but I saw the front caliper sticks a bit when not using it regularly. The Radio plays great. The fibergalss body looks really good. I saw very minor spider cracks starting here and there but small enough where the pics and video may not even pic them up. This Buggy has a great look to it!The underside looks very good and solid. The roll bar looks awesome as well. I have a box of extra parts that go with the sale. The back plate does not go with the sale as its part of my personal collection of plates. The banana plate goes with the sale. I do not want to over call this car or under call it, One of the most fun cars I have had in my collection!
