Rare. beautiful & with a sweet six cylinder engine. A delightful little car originally designed as a cheaper competitor to the Rolls Royce 20hp.

This car has Talbot/Darracq's own 3/4 cabriolet bodywork fitted which is very reminiscent of that built by many or the traditional body builders. Lowering the roof is a simple matter of undoing two screws. winding down the 3/4 windows & folding the hood back. The framework folds down with the window frames disappearing in parallel to then be covered by the hood bag. Lowering the hood is a matter of just a few seconds.


This car has been extensively rebuilt including all mechanics & the engine making for trouble free running. The 6 cylinder 1. 7 litre engine is smooth as butter. pulling strongly in all gears. The gear box is likewise a delight to use with easy silent changes attainable. The car sits on black wire wheels contributing to the period charm. This is one of those rare cars that looks as good with the hood up as it does with it down.

The car is finished in a deep garnet with black wings; the paint being in lovely condition. To the interior is Burgundy leather complimented by beautiful rope trim accents exactly replicating originals from the period. A handy stowage hatch sits behind the seats. To the rear is seating for two in a traditional dickey arrangement which also is an excellent area to store travel luggage. A further luggage rack ingeniously unfolds from the back with a number plate holder that swivels 180 degrees to remain visible when deployed. Everything on the car reeks of quality & attention to detail.

The car is in stock with us now & may be viewed by prior appointment. It is a delight to drive & will hold its own in modern traffic. The car comes with original handbooks & manuals. There is also an assortment of paperwork & invoices attesting to the care lavished upon it.
