A very rare find! One of only 425 produced 1940 Black LaSalle, model 5267 convertible coupe. Inspired by Harley Earl's early designs, this beautiful piece of GM history was restored 27 years ago by the original owner of 50 years (two owners total). Correct 322 8 cylinder engine Sharp burgundy and tan interiorWide Whitehall Firestone tires on original wheels with chrome caps EXTERIORNew styling with rakish windshield, integrated headlights and molded lower body lines.The amazing lines and curves of this rare LaSalle are a work of art. The body has been finished in Jet Black paint that looks great for being over 27 years old. Because the car was restored 27 years ago, there is some minor imperfections in the paint. Very nice chrome and stainless trim.
