For sale is my 16v oak green Gti.I bought the car earlier this year as my other mk2 golf was being rebuilt. Used for the odd weekend. Completed the North coast 500 with no hiccups. I think the car has had a respray because its quite flawless. Its been a good job done too, no orange peel etc.The car can come on either the BBS RA's or the G60 steels.The RA's are respectable but would benefit a refurb. Tyres are all legal. 2x AD08R's and 2x uniroyal rainsports.The G60's are freshly powdercoated with near new budget tyres.The engine pulls well and gear changes are good.Interior is nice and clean. The rainbow interior is nice and bright too.All injector seals were changed in July this year.The service history booklet is complete from 1991 until 2010.In 2010 the car was taken off the road for a few years then recommissioned in 2014.History from there on varies -Receipt of full service and timing belt from 2014.Receipt of timing belt, waterpump and thermostat from 2017.Receipt of full service in April 2020 of service and timing check.Receipt of full service in July 2021 (carried out by myself)MOT til May 2022Bad points- The car was registered Cat D in 1997. Reason is unknown but I was able to check the car on a ramp before purchase and I couldn't find any evidence of it.- It has a stainless Toyosports manifold/downpipe, matched with a standard exhaust (minus 1 silencer). If i'm being honest i think it doesn't sound great. Its raspy and almost sounds blown but isnt.- Headliner is knackered (I have a full headliner kit to go with car) cost £180- Speedometer isn't workingI'm available weekdays after 5 and weekends for viewings, i can also send videos etc.
