BMW 635 csi highline E24

For sale is my Dolphin Grey 635csi Highline Automatic. This is far from a show winning car, but what you're buying into is a rust free, honest weekend driver which still looks the part at the shows. There is no rust on any of the arches or sills.The underneath is very solid without any underseal to hide poor repairs or corrosion beneath. The Dolphin Grey paintwork is in excellent condition for its age baring some stonechips to the front end. The engine benefits from a recent top end rebuild including:Reground camshaftNew timing chain and guidesNew shimsHead gasketAll cleaned whilst apart. The car drives lovely for the 206k miles on the clock. The engine has plenty of power and the gearbox changes gear smoothly including kickdown with no overheating, oil leaks or untoward suspension noises. Everything works in the carincluding the front and rear electric windows, sunroof along with all the switches. The previous owner used it to drive between London and Dorset between 2010 and 2021; before this there is paperwork to show it was owned for a long period of time by an ex BMW tech. I planned to keep this car as an addition to my small collection however with work and business commitments taking up all my time I simply don't need two weekend cars. There are also receipt for recent works including: - x4 new calipers- X4 premium brand tyres- Recent wheel refurbishment-Bosch ICV-Welding to both rear subframe mounting points as advised on MOT.Work I've done in my ownership at my local BMW specialist:- Major service - Thermostat- Viscous fan- Rocker cover gasket- Camshaft location cover gasket- Diff bush- Four Wheel Alignment- New battery- New set of HT leadsAll parts genuine or OEM. Bad bits:- The MID screen has leaked (I have a replacement on order)- The seats could do with a redye on the bolsters (I will have this dome before sale if work permits or factor into sale price)- Sunroof panel has slight corrosion (I would recommend new panel and roof sprayed to match.- The AC compressor does not work. There is plenty of paperwork and a part service history comprising of 20 stamps.The G635 numberplate and an original set of wheels are included in the sale. I'm asking 13995 OVNO.
