Green Mercedes Benz 230CE LOADS Of Service History Stayed In Family For 30 Years

Welcome to the sale of this family owned beautiful Mercedes-Benz 230CE.This car has been in our family since she was new. First registered in Germany on 23/10/1980, the car has lived most of her life high in the mountains in Bevaria.She has been lovingly maintained and serviced her entire life by specialist Mercedes-Benz mechanics. From 1980 to 2011 the car was serviced by Automaner of Herdwangen. Sadly this service history has been lost. But that has reflected in the price as she isn't up for £20,000.The car was brought to England and first registered in England on 12/10/2011 by my father. She has all of her MOT's and service history since she's been in England.She was registered as a Old timer (classic car) in Germany.As you'll see in the photos and the video the car is in outstandingly beautiful condition but not immaculate. I do believe if you look at the special video showing you all the work needed for the car you will see there is some paint work necessary although I know garages will do this for £350-£700. I would personally want this professionally painted and therefore I would allow more like £1500 to get the job done properly.She is up for £8999 and I do genuinely believe with a little bit of paint she would be a £12000 - £14000 car.Please note the car has fully fitted Lambs wool seat covers. Whether you like these fully fitted lambs wool seat covers or not, they were a very expensive and necessary option for a classic car with no heated seats in the mountains of Germany in the 1980's. They are still in stunning condition today. More importantly whether you like the seat covers or not the seats underneath are as brand new. It has since done 15,000km.
