Here at barnfindspecialist.co.uk we have this amazing xk120 replica it has been built by the current owners late partner who spent a lot of money trying to achieve an accurate depiction of an XK120.However it is lacking a little quality control.It was built using a new Autotune body and chassis, the Donor car was a 1974 XJ6 4.2 Auto.The engine was rebuilt.The gearbox was rebuilt .The running gear is all jaguar with jaguar wire wheels and new tyres, Jaguar disc brakes and new callipers.New trimNew wiringNew fuel tank New lines New steering wheel Etc etc The car starts and drives.However it's running a little lumpy, I believe this is due to a small water leak on the thermostat housing and it's trickling water onto the distributior cap.In my opinion the rear suspension is too high, the coil overs need to be adjusted to lower the look of the car.The front bumper is very tacky and looks like a quick last minute addition.The roof also is a bit of a bodge job ( horrendous) but in all honesty who would drive this with the hood up? Go search kit cars on eBay there are some shocking things out there that people are asking for you to part with your hard earned cash, Spartans are now in the 10k region and they look like something that was knocked up in a shed in spark brook.There is a Jaguar logbook with this car and you can get in and start enjoying her straight away.Please please please don't message me saying it needs an IVA !
