1998 (S) Renault Laguna RTi 3.0 V6 DOHC 24v 194 Bhp. Manual 5 speed.Reluctant sale due to lack of space. I have owned this car since June 2007 as a second vehicle and it has never let me down. I have used it as a backup vehicle and on weekends / holidays untill about 2016 then in 2020 I put it back on the road. It starts, drives, handles and stops very well. Comes with Pioneer USB Stereo, PAS, Alloy wheels, Cruise control, Remote central locking with 2 original keys. Completely original and standard car apart from a stainless steel back box. Mileage may go up slightly as car still in occasional use.Condition:Interior is in good clean condition with no rips or burns, even the drivers seat is good. Dashboard is discoloured under the windscreen due to sun damage. Exterior has no dents but there are stone chips, the paint has faded and the lacquer peeled in places particularly on the bonnet, the spoiler and above the doors. I resprayed the roof with rattle cans and it shows as the lacquer went cloudy in the middle (please see pics). Underneath there is some rust as can be expected on a 1998 car, both outer sills were welded just infront of the rear wheels in 2015. Number plates are original and could do with replacing.Alloys are all in good condition with only very minor kerb damage. Tyres are all Firestone with approx 5mm of tread and hold air, spare is a full size steel and has never been used. Battery was new in June 2021. Issues:The rear door locks are both a little stiff and don't unlock on the central locking very often but can be unlocked by hand and always lock on the central locking.The alarm no longer works.The sunroof only opens about half way due to the wrong motor being fitted. (original motor failed and I could not find the exact one required)There is sometimes water in the foot well after heavy rain possibly due to blocked sunroof drain(s).The original blower motor failed and I could not find the same type so it has been replaced with a standard one which is controlled by a separate speed controller (blue knob on dashboard), temperature and vent selection is still adjusted on the climate control.
