“DISTINCT CLASSIC / 2 OWNER STORED FOR SEVENTEEN YEARS”!

1969 has been crowned the undisputed best year for the classic Mustang!

With the Mach, Boss and Shelby models stealing a good deal of spotlight many tend to forget that some coupes received a great deal of press also (a few even being released with 428)!

This particular blue oval wasn't fortunate enough to leave the assembly plant with such a block.

However the updated power plant laying under the hood now has comparable capability and is eager to run full throttle (more about that later).

For now please take time to enjoy the description, pictures & videos of this quality collector car”!

The SERIOUS BUYER is encouraged to call

(314) 649-8227 to find out how to scoop it up before the next guy does! It will be listed on other websites & for sale locally “DON'T MISS OUT”! If a deal can be struck the auction will cease.

SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE & THANK YOU!!!

Many things can be said about the vintage Ford pictured in the caption above.

It never fails to receive compliments once the car cover is removed.

Right out the gate it must be stated that the car spent most its life in of Texas!

The original owner ordered it from Joe Myers Ford {Houston} in 1968.

He managed to hold on to it until retirement (approximately 1994).

Sometime afterwards ownership and property rights were relinquished.

It would eventually windup many miles away in the heart of the Midwest.

A good friend of mine from Missouri Mustang was the new lucky guardian.

Unfortunately it was again pushed to the side and placed on the back burner for many years.

Thankfully he reached out to me when it was time to thin the herd.

Knowing that I had been looking for a SOLID 69 for quite a while “the connection was made”!

Once I laid eyes on it I immediately fell in love!

The patina of Texas was clearly evident with almost ever body panel being completely rust free!

I decided to start a full blown restoration.

Although I can't give an exact play by play in full detail here are a few of the most important aspects.

Again it started with a superior foundation and an accident free body.

This fact made the painstaking process a bit easier to complete.

“Almost immediately the original lacquer based paint was stripped of its outdated material”.

Once this feat was accomplished the body was prepped to receive the new STEEDA Q850 diamond base Tri-Coat enamel.

The Raven Black exterior almost looks wet in direct sunlight and the external surface is smooth to the touch!

I have been known to be a harsh critic when judging vintage vehicles and the same scale will be applied for this car.

A deep dark mirror reflection is readily provided however, “as is the case with most” minor imperfections can be detected.

An amazing contrast is administered via aid of

“FLAME RED GT SIDE STRIPES”!

You literally won't make it a city block without someone giving thumbs up or pointing!

Since this particular 69 lived a sheltered life most of the body lines are well balanced and uniform.

The gaps also seem to be in step with FOMOCO tooling specifications.

To compliment the body of this stallion a high –caliber vinyl top has been set in place to shield the roof!

This throwback has also been adorned with new script to grace each fender.

A nostalgic N.O.S. factory hood scoop reminds you of an era when muscle cars ruled the road!

At each corner you'll find a perfect set of sport mirrors and attaching hardware.

New quarter ornaments have been enlisted to commandeer 60's virtue.

All of the chrome accents sprinkled throughout have been refurbished to professional grade.

A Ford sanctioned die cast zinc C9ZZ running pony is properly mounted on the grille.

An achromatic flawless fuel cap is sealed to the concave tail panel.

This one also comes with a perfect set of stainless wheel well moldings.

Both front & rear bumpers have been replaced with new MCA recommended components.

Each side marker was upgraded with W-795 quality pieces.

From every angle the hallmark of a meticulous restoration is on display.

The total picture is noteworthy & breathtaking!

Upon opening the door of this obsidian flavored coupe you will find a beautiful black interior!

Although considered standard in its day the accommodation almost comes across as elegant!

You can't miss the conventional leather like bucket seats with wrapped headrest.

All covers have been replaced with TMI upholstery & extra padding (looks / feels amazing)!

The OEM steering wheel is in show quality condition with a mint 3649 AR center emblem!

To further enhance the interior a new beautiful loop pile carpet with shifter plate has been instituted.

A pair of superior sill plates can be identified once either is opened.

The dash pad, gauges and cockpit area look immaculate.

All of the surrounding glass is in pristine condition as well.

You won't have a problem holding your head high at the local car cruise!

NOW NO MUSTANG CAN BE TRULY CONSIDERED A FREE RUNNING PONY WITHOUT HAVING A FACTORY V/8. EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT'S UNDER THE HOOD!

Once the lid of this one is cracked open no one leaves disappointed.

Like most Mustang lovers I admire performance & big block machines!

That being said the right small block “when built correctly can be even more exciting to drive”!

This (F-Code) factory V/8 Mustang was released with the pedestrian 302 ”most didn't regard it as a barn burner”.

Things have changed considerably over the last few years.

The high reviving unit cradled between the fenders now happens to be very responsive and light on its feet!

New specs push performance numbers & torque ratio values well over factory standards!

Impressive horse power was created by aid of Edelbrock intake and 650 CFM with electric choke!

1995 Mustang GT internal 6.248 pushrods and hydraulic roller lifters absorb the compression.

The updated camshaft invokes 120lbs of valve seat pressure and 0.311 Lobe Lift!
