I have owned this lovely little Mk 3 since April 2016 when I picked her up as a 95% finished project. Almost 6 years later and with too many projects on my hands, it is with regret that the time has come for her to find a new loving home.The previous owner had completed a "body off" restoration, attending to chassis, body and mechanicals in their entirity so she is completely rust free and includes new floors and sills, and a GRP boot lid.He had also just resprayed her and although the paintwork looked lovely 6 yrs ago it needs re-finishing now.The engine is upgraded to 1500cc driving through the 4 speed Laycock overdrive gearbox to the matching rear axle.Dolomite Sprint alloys add an eyecatching addition.I have kept her in dry storage throughout my ownership, she has been regularly run and excercised and drives very nicely.This car represents an easy project to finish over the winter in readiness to enjoy next spring although I am continuing completion so she gets nearer to the asking price by the week.Please come and take a look, have a drive and make your own assessment. (Near Bicester) I will consider a sensible offer.Although she drives very well, I would advise trailering away as the new windscreen is not yet fitted. ( I can deliver )
