1968 Pontiac Firebird, Rare 4 Speed Manual, 455 V8, 7.5L, £1000's spent

Hi Ebayer's (I had to do some research into the car to confirm engine etc, Know found the 455 Stamp on the block to confirm, also found the auction catalog when this car was up for sale in Jan 2011 by COYS) So know all backed up, plus i have £10-12K of engine works completed.Up for sale is my 1968 Pontiac Firebird, with 4 speed Hirst Manual Transmission and 455ci V8 giving out 340bhp at standard, but not sure how much know as the top has been skimmed plus bored out so not sure of the HP know. This is a 7.5 Litre Motor. The engine is fitted with a competition crankshaft, Edelbrock Performance Intake manifold, Edelbrock 750cfm Carb, and performance camshaft. This car was built in 2010 to drag race at Santa Pod, but never made it there as it went up for auction in Jan 2011. It has a Mallory Ignition, Dressed up water reservoir, Adjustable Fuel booster gauge, Performance Moroso Ignition cables and a Holley Fuel Pump. The Engine and transmission run beautifully and very easy. Engine runs beautiful once warmed up, i always allow 10 mins before driving older cars, as i have a Porsche 928 as wellI have only had the car a few days as i have always wanted one of these but have since decided after driving it for 3-4 hours i want the Automatic Version. I found it quiet hard with the brake and accelerator so close together, the clutch position was fine.So as i said if you have an Auto Version of this i am happy to do a swap as i really want to keep one of these. The car has a racing ignition installed with separate fuel cut off and push start. The body of the car is straight but the bonnet has a few rust bubbles, very tiny, the rest of the cars body is in lovely condition and the boot is very clean and the underneath of the car has been waxed by the previous owner.All the chrome is in really nice condition as well. Could do with a really good polish to sparkle. The tires have only done 700 miles on them and have great tread on them, the car had been lowered by 11/2 inches by the previous owner which i think makes the car a little bumpy down our country roads, it has had new suspension arms and new front brakes fitted. The exhaust pipes are performance x pipes fitted with twin cherry bombs, very very loud, you can hear the roar of the v8 from 3 miles away!!!The interior of the car is OK, not the best ive seen, but clean back seats and carpets, but the two front seats have been changed for bucket style with 4 point harness, I think there very uncomfortable, but im short and dont sit in them comfortable. You can get much nicer ones for £200-£300 each New.The car has been fitted with a massive Ali Rad and New Fan from wilwood to keep that big engine cool, so the interior fan has been disconnected but still in place. This has a manual switch inside the car to turn the fan on and off, and works really well as i drove the car for more than 3 hours without any problem. The car has been updated with power steering as you can see from the engine bay pictures. The stabilizing arms to the front have been renewed and the car has had new suspension to the rear, little bumpy for me on country roads but keeps the car nice and tight around the corners. All the electrics work inside the car as it should, someone has stuck a orange indicator light on for some reason to one of the knobs which doesn't seem to do anything. The boot and under side of the car has been wax oiled and is in nice condition. Please contact me with any inquiries or offers, but nothing stupid please. Car is Tax and MOT exempt. This will be either Cash on collection, Bank Transfer or a SWAP within Ebay rules.
