I cannot put web addresses on here due to pistonhead rules but if you log onto a very popular social media site and search for "Ciaran Woods 1969 Porsche 912 911 T" you will find a picture slide show. I also have shot film footage of the car and it will be on my channel in the next few days so keep checking for it.

History. br>On the 5th of September 1969 this totally gorgeous little Porsche was delivered to its first lucky owner. chassis # 129000230. The reg # FJI 9911 is also included and has been valued at £2500. Can you imagine how shocking she must have looked back then. driving into town among the other boring cars of the era? It would definitely have turned every head on the street 45 years ago. and it certainly still does today. Its actually amazing how much attention and respect this car gets. there is literally not one person who wont stop and stare. and it brings a smile to everyone's face. What's very rare and interesting about this car is that it is a long wheelbase. most 912's where short wheelbase cars. and this gives this baby a nice little hint of uniqueness.
For the last 30 years she has been in the ownership of the same elderly man. and she has been cared for regardless of cost. You cant get much better history than that! It has been Mot'd every single year and it has never failed an mot in the last 30 years. This is the first time the car has been brought to market in all that time. When the car was 2 years old it was fitted with a period correct 1969 2. 0 911 T engine and gearbox. and it is in perfect mechanical condition. It starts first turn of the key and drives like a dream. The car is only showing a genuine 82k miles from new. It has a very rare special order interior and drivers adjustable mirror. She really is a 911 T in every respect but at half the price!
Mechanical. br>She is fitted with an immaculate litte 2. 0 911 T engine and box. It really does drive great. it starts first turn and it doesn't splutter and jump. the engine runs really sweet and has great tickover at idle. it dosen't die out etc. There is no crunching gears and the gearbox is smooth as silk. The exhaust is solid with no blowouts and sounds great. I was able to get talking to the mechanic who has worked on her for the last 30 years. and he said the car has never gave any trouble in all that time. other that regularly servicing it. she has required no major work. There's new brake discs on the front. What's really good about this car is that there is no electrical issues with it. most early Porsches have a nightmare with blown fuses and electrical problems etc etc. I have been driving this car regularly and it has never blown a fuse. or had any failure to any electrical part. All the little bits and bobs still work on it which is lovely. even the interior light comes on when you open the door. and all the clocks work as they should. You wont have to spend a penny on this Porsche mechanically. it is ready to jump into and drive. I actually just completed a 200 mile trip around the coast in it and it never skipped a beat. it was so much fun.
Interior. br>The interior is in time warp condition. I have never seen an early Porsche as original and unmolested. all the door cards are intact and everything works. this is unusual as most of these cars have door cards with broken door bins and water damaged cards etc. The cool wind down windows work as they should also. All the carpet is immaculate and the dash is excellent with all working clocks. and more importantly the clocks have no rust or moisture. Up front is a pair of ultra rare seats. they are special order original Porsche. and they have a cool design headrest. I must say these seats are soooo comfortable you wont want to get out of them! They are also completely unmarked and perfect condition. One more rare and cool feature is the drivers door mirror. it was a special order too. it is adjustable via a little joystick on the door card and it still works perfect. You wont find a better interior than this. its a lovely place to be on the open road.
Body. br>The body is a long wheelbase which is very rare for a 1969 912. The structure of the shell is solid and it passed its mot recently with no problems. The paint looks good and it is very presentable but its not perfect though. there is a couple of bubbles here and there. a couple on the wing. Ideally if you wanted to make the car look perfect you could give it a repaint. This would increase the value of it to a huge amount. There is an electric sunroof which is rare for a 1969 model and it works too. She is fitted with the iconic duck tail real spoiler which looks amazing. it really suits the car and sets it off. Some of the rubber seals would need replacing. the front window rubber and the indicator lense rubbers. they work fine as they are but I think it would give it a facelift if these where replaced. and they are inexpensive. All the panels line up as they should and shows no signs of accident damage. The doors open and close really nice with no slamming required.
Wheels and tyres. br>15” magnesium fuchs!! What a retro iconic design. These wheels are like hens teeth and are worth £2500 even in rough condition. These are in great nick with 4 good tyres  and they really add to the old school look of the car
Overview. br>These classic Porsches are amazing cars to own. they present excellent value for money yet also making a sound financial investment. other cars similar in class and performance are being sold for ten times more. There is some total scrap heaps out there. where you think you're getting a bargain only to realise you have to spend thousands to put everything right before it can be enjoyed safely on the road. What is nice about Early Porsches is that they are practical and reliable. they are as easy to use as a VW Golf. they really can be used as a daily driver. What better way to invest your money than to pick up a gorgeous iconic sports car like this. Take your girl away for a romantic weekend. or go for a cruise to the coast. or just pop into town in style and go for lunch. The fun element to this car is endless! This is a great little car that you wont have to start fixing up. just jump into it and your ready to go because all the work has already been done. All the coolest people in history drove these cars. Steve McQueen. Paul Newman etc. I love driving this car. it really is like stepping back in time to a by gone era. Its a great escape from a stressful week at work!
