A beautiful Barker Sedanca in very very original & untouched condition. This is a low mileage car that was under previous ownership for over 40 years which accounts for its lovely state of preservation. A complete history & detailed description of all works carried out to it comes with the car. The Desirable Sedanca top opens easily allowing for alfresco motoring in summer & snug enclosed warmth during the winter.

The car is finished in dark blue over black with the paintwork in excellent condition as is the roof covering material. Interestingly the bonnet louvres are picked out in polished aluminium making for a pleasing appearance. The car has a wealth of period features including unusual a post mounted signal lamps. There is a spare wheel cover for the rear mounted spare. The boot folds down to a horizontal position & may be used as a picnic table.

The interior of the car is a delight. Blue Leather in lovely order is fitted throughout the front. The dash is absolutely correct & original with unusual sliding door handles to either side & a quick up/down drivers window. The speedometer is in both miles & kilometers indicating preparation for continental use. To the rear is original Bedford Cord in super condition. A bar is located in the centre of the rear with drinks glasses of differing sizes & a spirit decanter inside. The division is of the wind up variety & is fully operable. Twin vanity sets are fitted to the rear alcoves.

On the road the car drives superbly & as a Rolls Royce should. The engine is strong & silent. readily starting off the switch indicating excellent compression. Much money has been spent on keeping the car in tip top condition without regard to expense. In recent years The caburettor has been rebuilt. Dynamo rebuilt with new brushes also fitted. Petrol tank removed. rivets re-soldered & sealed. Exhaust manifold replaced. Engine re-bored. new aluminium head fitted etc etc etc.

Thus the car is in excellent way above average running order. I cannot stress enough how lovely & original the feel of the car is. It is a very very fine example with desirable coachwork by top coach-builders Barker & Co.
