Chassis number GF78

Unusual & delightful. First time on the market in many many years. This very early 20hp has a wonderfully period look to it with a sharply angled Vee screen overhung by a beautifully curved extended front roof-line. Coachwork is by William Vincent of Reading. commissioned by one Mr Newton of Lytham St Annes.

The car is configured as an owner driver non division six light. The interior is a lovely place to be with cloth seats to the front & rear. It maintains all its original features including a perfect dash board with all instruments intact & working as intended. To the rear are a pair of magazine racks cleverly recessed into the rear roof pillars.

The car had a major engine rebuild under the previous ownership. Thus the engine is silent & with superb compression. The three speed box is tight & precise. The car drives beautifully & is a very tactile driving experience. Unusually the car was supplied from new with just coil ignition & no magneto. The magneto mount is blanked off with a Rolls Royce blanking place including part number & the usual magneto drive take off from the dynamo is likewise blanked off.

The car is finished in medium grey over black. again making for a very period look. The paint is in decent order without being too perfect & presents well. A side & rear mounted spare are present. Leather Wefco gaiters are fitted to the front & rear springs. A sonorous brass klaxon type horn is fitted to the fire wall. Original divers helmet style lamps are fitted to he rear.

The car is located in Rugby & may be viewed there by prior appointment. This is a delightfully original car in impeccable running order in a condition which is becoming difficult to find nowadays.
