1986 Peugeot, might be a PH10LE Road bike and looks to be 60cm size. [top tube measures 59cm] Good condition and Condition is of course "Used". Local pickup, but shipping can be arranged, size of box makes economic shipping a bit costly . Again, Looks to be a size 60 cm frame measurement is best for riders at least 5' 11” to 6'3“.

RIDES LIKE A VERY QUICK FIXIE WITH GEARS!

Frame shows some surface rust — see photos. No evidence of any crashing. Frame appears to be straight as the day it was made.  Wheels are straight and true, with no flat spots...Tires are good, and the bike is ready to ride.  But like all bikes this age, it would be wise to clean and repack all the bearings.  Hub, headset, Bottom Bracket, and front and rear hubs before any extended rides.

Nervar crankset

Weinmann side pull brakes

Mostly all French road bike. Could use some TLC but it is ready to ride. Fairly low original mileage.

Huret front derailleur, but rear appears to be a Suntour Sprint.

Has racing style pedals, with clod and straps. Gearing is set up for racing. This appears to be a mostly original bike, and nice that it was built using modern 700c rims.

The rear wheel appears to utilize a standard freewheel type hub.  So no potentially trouble prone, but certainly elegant, French Helicomatic Cassette.

Curious is the Shimano Hubs, so there is no peculiar Helicomatic Freehub body to deal with.

Bike is mostly original... saddle seat post and derailleurs. Wheels, and cog-set all original. Has original pedals.

The best parts of this bike are the wheels. They are is fairly nice condition.  Tires have some life in them, so that saves on additional expense.. Overall, this would, with little money and time invested, would make a nice fast commuter bike. Lots of patina and potential. Not sure of the actual model here. This was made in France. This would be in the very top end of Peugeot's entry level road bike series of that time, but it was nice that Peugeot didn't dumb the bikes down, the original owner could race this in the configuration, as purchased. Please refer to the photos and ask questions, as there my be errors on the text.

As for shipping.. I am looking for local pickup, but I am open to sending the bike built and protecting it with bubble wrap etc . via rail. Just ask and I will get you an estimate for that as well as ups or FedEx. But those methods may be pricey, due to large carton, and depending on your location in relation to California. But, if you go ahead and buy it with the quoted shipping on the listing, I will do my utmost to try to keep to that price of 89.95, but reserve the right to cancel the order, if that price proves unworkable.
