Up for auction is this very nice 'art deco' '35 Dodge Pick Up! It has the original flathead six engine that starts right up and runs excellent.  It has a 3 spd tranny(original) with a shift on the floor.  The truck was restored about 10 years ago along with engine rebuild with 1,000 miles since rebuild.  The engine carries 52 lbs of oil pressure.  Temp gauge stays @ 140 degrees, nice & cool even on 80 degree days.  The engine bay is nice, clean & tidy.  All 5 tires are new WWW mounted on original artillery rims.  The glass is good.  The paint is very nice with only very minor imperfections.  No dents, dings, patch panels or bondo.  The windshield cranks open nicely & is very nice when 'cruisin'.  The interior is very nice and re-upholstered in period correct vinyl.  There is no headline so you can put your own touches to that.  The dash & gauges are NOS, very nice and all work.  The gas tank has a dent in it, however, does not leak at all.  The under carriage is redone - nice & clean with no crud.  I have driven this cool little truck many times & many miles with no issues.  The truck has blinkers, after market tail gate & Dodge letters.  There is new rubber on the running boards.  Headlights and brake lights all work.  I cruise this truck at 50-55mph.  It drives very good, does not wobble, wander or pull.  People really respond with the 'thumbs up' and wide smiles. A real eye catcher. Gas station stops take awhile as everyone wants to see and talk about the truck.  These '30's pick ups are nearly impossible to find and purchase - especially in this nice of shape.  It is almost 87 yrs old and quite a survivor! This vehicle is offered by a WI dealer, therefore a purchase agreement will need to be signed along with a WI(only)buyer will have local, county and state taxes and fees added to the final bid price of the car. A $500 non-refundable down payment is required to within 24 hours of the end of the auction. This means that $500 is due to within 24 hours of the end of the auction as a way to honor your purchase of this vehicle and not screw up my auction. The full balance is due within 7 days of the end of the auction as cash in person or wired to our bank account. The balance will NOT be accepted into PayPal. This means that the winning bidder either pay the balance as cash in person or wire the funds to our bank account within 7 days of the end of the auction. This vehicle is currently stored in a garage and can remain there for up to 30 days to allow for transportation or pick up of this vehicle.
