1975 RELIANT SCIMITAR SE5A GTE OVERDRIVE GREY for sale

Reliant Scimitar 1975. This car has a TCI (Terry Cox Improvements) engine with fast road cam. unleaded stage 2 heads. balanced and ported with steel timing gear all built by Terry Cox. Aldon igniter electronic ignition. lectric Facet fuel pump.   Tubular manifolds with a 2" SS Powerflow (2 box) exhaust system. Rev limiter which has been set at 6000 rpm since rebuild. Lowered suspension on Koni adjustable shox on front and AVO adjustable shocks on rear. 15" five spoke Revolution alloys with TOYO Proxes. Steel 15" spare. Excellent overdrive gearbox. Interior is good. Corbeau high backed seats. refurbished Rev counter (and clock).  Alloy rocker covers and uprated plug leads for a bit of bling! Digital radio with USB and iPod socket!
Since I have had this car. mechanically it has been refurbished end to end. mostly by Terry Cox at TCI. It is has been an incredibly reliable and phenomenally quick car. more than able to cope with modern traffic and track days but with the power. handling and braking to leave many modern cars standing. It will make a good base car for RSSOC Competitions
It does not have power steering or a LSD.

I have just fitted new door seals and have a new windscreen rubber seal and infill to fit.
The negatives are that the body work. especially the paint is now needing some TLC and. to bring it up to perfect it would really need a re-spray with the usual gel crack attention. What it is though. is an incredibly good looking drivable and practical car that is both quick and fun and yet can double as an easy drive to the shops.
