L@@K VW BEETLE CLASSIC CAR 1975 TAX AND MOT EXEMPT - A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE L@@K

Presenting this beautiful 1975 Volkswagen Beetle, a worthy investment, better than money sat in the bank.

"The VW Beetle, an iconic peoples car dating back to the 1930s designed by Ferdinand Porsche, a car that was to be affordable, practical and reliable, built as a two-door rear engine, inexpensive automobile for the masses".

Engine, under the rear bonnet is a 1200cc, air cooled engine running sweet as a nut with many new parts replaced over the years, this model benefits from the alternator rather than dyno, attached to the engine is a 4-speed manual transmission, the clutch although notably high on the pedal engages easily with no slippage. She pulls away well and cruises nicely along the motorway and could easily be used as a daily driver being very capable of keeping up with modern traffic.

Brakes, new drum brakes all round.

Tyres, new tyres all round.

Body, has been well looked after and repaired where necessary, no signs of further repair, and a good rust prevention coating can be seen protecting all key areas of the undercarriage, floor pan, heater cannels, engine and trunk bays.

Paint, this Volkswagen Beetle is coated in a vibrant orange paint (a real head turner) with very few marks that could be easily touched up, there's an area on the off side front wing which isn't very noticeable but may need blowing in to make perfect, other than that the paint is good as is with no rust bubbles anywhere.

Suspension, recently replaced and is a comfy ride with no knocks or bangs when driving on rough roads.

Interior is clean and tidy with covers on the original seats (I think they are worn), the dash maybe from a different model as explained to me by the previous owner, the heater works fine, as does the lights h/brake, indicators etc, not sure about the fuel gauge yet, I will update the advert once assessed. ****update: trying to fix as currently not working.

This Beetle is a lovely example which wants for nothing, simply turn the key and enjoy !

Whether this is your first Beetle or your tenth this1975 Volkswagen Beetle is raring to go.

Sadly the previous owner lost the Beetles history file in a fire, as so the logbook is the only current paperwork I have, however being a local car I expect it wouldn't be too hard to tract down the garages where it was maintained for duplicates or invoices and MOTs.
