I am selling my very nice Mercedes 280SL as I have to many projects and cannot get round to getting it done.

I imported the car from the US in 2011 and had the car serviced and MOT'd  but since then it has been in dry storage. it has not been UK registered but all the documents are ready to do so.

I have since the photo's were taken removed the chrome wheel arch covers (Americans love doing this !!) and have also fitted european rear lights for the MOT.

Car is in nice original condition with a very nice interior and runs and drives well. it is a very solid car with no previous welding. body is super solid but really needs a respray.

It also has owners manual. service book. pouch and tools as pictured.

Overall a very honest solid car which could be an easy winter project.

Payment I will require a non refundale deposit of £2000. 00 to be paid via Paypal or bank transfer within 24 hours of auction closing or I will offer to the next highest bidder.

After a few questions regarding mileage I would advise that the last stamp in the service book was in 1986 and shows 96. 00 miles. the current mileage showing on the speedo is 40. 00 so we must presume that the car has done 140. 00 miles.
