Mini cooper s r53. 46,000 miles! Supercharged All original. Excellent Condition.

For sale is my 04 MINI Cooper S R53 Hatchback, in Black II with Black Cloth/Leather interior.

It is well specified with the Chili Pack (which gives it xenons, 17" S-Spoke wheels, alarm, half leather, air-con and front fogs among other things), heated mirrors and washer jets, white roof/mirrors, darkened rear glass, auto air-con and CD player.

The service history is good, it had a major service last year and has only done about 1000 miles since. MOT is next due in April 2022. I've got a big pile of receipts and previous MOTs for it. I've also got screenshots from BMW/MINI's system to show the specification and original OTR price.

This car is completely standard with no modifications, and only 46000 miles from new (will rise slightly as in minor use). It has two remote keys. the last two previous owners have kept it garaged.

Genuine reason for sale, I brought the car as I was told I'd be working back in the office again after the lockdown ended but now things have changed and I'll be working from home a lot more so it's no it's longer needed.

The last owner spent a lot of money doing this car up since he bought it 18 months ago, hoping to get it fully restored and kept in mint condition. It has had a major service including two oil leaks taken care of (these are notorious for oil leaks but this one is all done), a new exhaust system, and four new Uniroyal Runflat tyres fitted in May. It has had the climate control system tested and regassed. It's been fully polished and had the alloys refurbished, so it looks really bright. I've also had a set of new genuine MINI floor mats put in, and new genuine MINI alloy wheel centre caps fitted. Everything is the standard specification. Just had close to £2000 spent on it this year and I've got the receipts to prove it. 

A few small things that need doing is a very small patch of paint bubble that is showing through on the rear quarter (see photo) Just in front of the fuel flap, a fairly common issue. It's not got any worse since he had it but you might want to deal with it one day just to finish the car off. the other small thing is one of the exhaust rubber hangers that keep the exhaust central has come loose and it makes a rattle when stationery, it's only just had the exhaust done but the previous owner and the garage that did the work are over 2 hours from me so not worth taking it back. can't hear anything when moving and it's an easy fix so not worth the drive. The only other thing is the brake pad light has come on so it'll need new brake pads if it's not the sensor.
