2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sport for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.1) based on 67 votes

Welcome to the sale of my 2000 Mini Cooper Sport. I bought it back in 2017. The car has done 53,000 miles and I've had a lot of work done to it. In 2018 it had a brand new heritage rear subframe and new handbrake cables. The subframe has since been painted and protected. Also all the underneath has been painted too in matching solar red.

In lockdown it went to a company called IK classics who are based in Holmefirth and it had over £8,000 of restoration work. This included the following:

New heritage passenger wing and A panel

New heritage passenger upper sill and rear quarter filling piece.

New heritage rear valance.

The car was then resprayed as well as the roof and mirrors and then flatted down to remove any orange peel. I also had the steering wheel retrimmed and all 4 wheels refurbished. Once the car had returned, I carried out a 2-stage machine polish and ceramic coating.

I have kept every invoice and receipt since owning the car (see photos) as well as any past paperwork from the previous owners.

Since ownership I have fitted the following:

New badges

New headlight bowls and rings

New grill

New windscreen wipers and washer jets

4 new yokohama tyres

New stickers and stripes were fitted after the restoration.

New filter cap

Two new rubber cones

New ball joints

4 KYB shocks

New discs and pads around 2,000 miles ago

New steering rack

Upgraded polybush mounts all round

New maniflow twin upswept exhaust

Short shifter with upgraded poly bushes

ITG air filter

New engine steady with polybush

New coil pack, HT leads and spark plugs 1,000 miles ago

New thermostat

Had a radiator flush 500 miles ago

As well as a few other addons.

It gets serviced every year with the proper 20w-50 classic motor oil as well as a new filter.

It's always been garaged in a carcoon to keep any harsh weather and damp away.

It has an agreed valuation of £16,000.

I would like around £18,000 for it as I think with the amount of time and effort I've spent on it, it's worth that.
