1972 Chevrolet Suburban Custom Deluxe

1972 Chevy Suburban C20 Custom Deluxe 3 Door with barn doors in the back. I am the fourth owner and the car comes with a lot of documentations: Protect-O-Plate, original warranty agreement, owners manual (with some original maintenance logged), previous title and bill of sales as well as many receipts for work done that go back as far as 1993. The odometer reads 3,817; which is not original, actual mileage unknown.V8 350 with 350 turbo auto transmission. Runs, drives, steers and stops excellent! Lots of work done over the past 18 months, most recently in the past 6 months the 350 Turbo transmission was just completely overhauled, see pics, along with the four ball joints, front shock absorbers, engine compression tested at 150lbs even, new valve cover gaskets, wires, distributor cap, ignition rotor, oil pan and gasket, oil change and new battery. New rear wheel bearing and seals, new rear brake shoes/cylinders and drums machined. All work done by reputable mechanic who has done work on my 69' Chevelle and well as my 79' Blazer. Also, new steering wheel and horn, rear view mirror, new rear backup and brake lenses, rear passenger door handle and new seatbelts for both rear seats.Other recent work includes new vintage air, water pump, alternator, radiator, dual electric fans, carburetor and fuel hose, thermostat, dual exhaust, master cylinder and propositioning valve and booster, rebuilt steering column, vintage style Bluetooth radio and speakers, turn signal switch and new side moldings. All lights and gauges work (including high and low beams, turn signals, dome, brake, reverse and hazards). Emergency brake works. Speedometer, oil pressure and temperature gauges works. What doesn't work is the washer fluid, I have new pump, tubes and bucket; just haven't installed them yet. The lighter isn't connected, but have a brand new one if you wish to put it in. Cruise control is not connected.Exterior door handles work just fine. I have replaced one and left the others alone as they work fine. The chrome is slightly pitted on the original handles, the car will come with new handles in their boxes if/when you wish to swap them out. I tend not to like to take all the “old” out of my vehicles and only replace things when absolutely necessary. I also have a roof rack (see pics) that I purchased that I never got to putting on the vehicle, you will need gaskets and mounting screws, but basic hardware store has those!This is a very clean car that was purchased new and spent its life in Texas until I had it brought here to RI in 2020 and always kept it in a garage. No rust cancer has been found, just typical surface rust on the undercarriage. There are a few "nicks" in the paint as shown in one of the pics; just one of the hazards of being a driver and not a trailer queen. Body is smooth and solid as is the original wood bedding! You don't find these Suburban's in this condition so often!!
