ASTON MARTIN DB7 VOLANTE.  

1997.

This rare manual supercharged DB7 Volante was first registered on 9th June 1997 and supplied via Newport Pagnell Works Service to Stratstone of 40. Berkeley Street. London W1. who carried out the pdi at 41 miles.   The mileage now remains sensible and fully warranted. with all books and a complete service history from new. Supplied with two sets of keys and alarm fobs. This is one of the later. twin airbag cars.

MECHANICAL CONDITION.

The mechanical condition is second to none and the car drives and performs absolutely without fault. It has evidently been the subject of highly detailed maintenance throughout its life and this is supported by the fully stamped Aston Martin service book as well as detailed accompanying invoices.

BODYWORK & PAINTWORK.

Bodywork remains Factory original with perfect panel fit. The British Racing Green paintwork is similarly excellent – essentially blemish-free.  

Look into the wheel arches. and these areas are almost as clean and dirt free as the outside bodywork – hardly a speck in sight.

The only deviation from original is the fitment of an Aston Martin ‘Le Mans' style mesh grille.  

SOFT TOP & WEATHER EQUIPMENT.  

The electric mechanism works quickly. quietly and smoothly.  

The black mohair hood appears almost new. as is the tan suede internal headlining. The fit is perfect and it looks absolutely beautiful.  

The hood envelope is as new – prior to me putting it on the car for these photographs. it looks as though it has never previously been used.  

WHEELS & TYRES.  

 The correct original 18” alloy wheels are fitted and these are in superb undamaged condition. Of note is the fact that the inside of these wheels is as free of dirt and brake dust as the pristine exteriors.

They are fitted with a very recent set of the correct Aston-specified Bridgestone tyres. All protected with locking wheel nuts.  

INTERIOR.

Original and unmolested. the light duo-tone tan and dark green leather interior is spotlessly clean and in near perfect condition. The dashboard is perfect. as are the door and side trim panels. and carpets. Rear seats have probably never been used. and the front seats are showing only light signs of careful usage.  

Electric seat adjustment and seat heating to both front seats. Twin airbags. Air conditioning.  

BOOT AREA.

Immaculate and complete with original toolkit. jack. warning triangle. unused spare wheel  etc.  

One delightful option is the Aston Martin umbrella in its own place in the bootlid.
