HI I AM, SELLING MY 1972 FORD MAVERICK. LET ME START BY SAYING EVEN IF YOUR NOT A FORD PERSON YOU HAVE TO LOVE THIS CAR. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THAT ENOUGH. THE CAR IS POWERED BY A 302CI ENGINE THAT THAT HAS BEEN BUILT BUT NOT OVER THE TOP. THE ENGINE HAS A MID SIZED CAM AND HAS ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDING LOPEY IDLE I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG TIME. THE CAR IS ALSO VERY RESPONSIVE FROM A STOP AS YOU TAP THE GAS, IT JUMPS. THE CAR HAS AN EDELBROCK CARBURETOR SITTING ON A WEIAND INTAKE. THERE IS A CHROME BULLET POWER STEERING PUMP AND AN ENLARGED WATER PUMP. IT HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO A ELECTRONIC IGNITION. IT HAS A 3 INCH ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH A SPAL ELECTRIC FAN. THE CAR CAN RUN ALL DAY AND IT RUNS COOL ALL DAY AS WELL. THE CAR HAS BEEN FITTED WITH HEDMAN HEADERS AND STAINLEES EXHAUST OUT THE SIDES, AND AGAIN THE SOUND IS DEEP AND SERIOUS BUT THERE ARE MUFFLERS SO IT IS NOT OBNOXIOUS. I BELIEVE THE HEADS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED BUT NOT SURE TO WHAT. THE TRANMISSION IS A C-6 AND IT SHIFTS BEAUTIFULLY. THERE ARE NO NOISES AND NO HARD SHIFTING ISSUES. I ASSUME BASED ON THE ENTIRE CAR THIS TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN REBUILT. A,  B AND M RACHET SHIFTER HAS BEEN ADDED AND IT WOKS FLAWLESSLY. IT ALSO HAS BEEN UPGTADED TO A FORD 9 INCH REAR AND IT GOES DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH EASE.  THE EXTERIOR WAS REDONE 5 YEARS AGO AND ITS MAGNIFICENT. THE PAINT WAS DONE IN WHITE PEARL AND ITS BEAUTIFUL. THE ONLY FLAW IS ON THE DRIP RAIL ABOVE THE DRIVERS WINDOW AND THE REAR DRIVERS POST BEHIND THE REAR WINDOW, WHERE THERE IS SOME BUBBLING THAT WILL EVENTUALLY NEED ATTENTION.  THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF ANY BODY WORK WHERE THE BODY KIT WAS ADDED. AND ALTHOUGH I WOULD ASSUME AT LEAST A SMALL AMOUNT OF BONDO WAS USED IN THE RESTORATION THERE ARE ALSO NO SIGNS OF IT. THE SIDE ARE STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW AND THERE ARE NO WAVES AT ALL. THE CAR WAS DISMANTLED WHEN THE WORK WAS DONE SO THERE IS NOT A DROP OF OVERSPRAY. THERE WAS ALOT OF CLEAR USED AND THE CAR WAS BUFFED TO PERFECTION SO THERE ARE NO STORYS. ALL THE GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND I BELIEVE TO BE ORIGINAL. ALL THE WINDOW WORK LIKE NEW AS WELL. THE STAINLESS TRIM IS EXCELLENT, I BELIEVE IT WAS TAKEN OFF AND ANY BUMPS OR DINGS WERE TAKEN OUT AND BUFFED BACK TO LIKE NEW. THE BUMPERS ARE PRESENTABLE BUT DO HAVE SOME PITTING. IF I WAS GOING TO KEEP THE CAR I WOULD HAVE THEM RECHROMED AS THEY ARE STILL STRAIGHT AND WOULD BE AN EASY FIX. ALL THE RUBBER ON THE ENTIRE CAR IS NEW INCLUDING THE FROND WINDSHIELD AND THE REAR WINDOW. ALL THE LITE BEZELS AND DOOR HANDELS ARE EXCELLENT. THE HEADLITES WERE UPDATED TO HALOGEN AND THE CAR LOOKS COOL AT NITE. THE WHEELS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED AND SPRAYED PROFEESIOALLY THEY ARE NOT THE USUAL SPRAY CAN, NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY LOOK GREAT. THE INTERIOR IS EXCELLENT. AS YOU CAN SEE THE SEATS ARE FANTASTIC. THERE ARE NO RIPS OR TEARS IN THEM. THEY WERE REDONE JUST A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND THEY ARE THE DELUXE SEATS. THE CARPET IS THE ORIGIAL SHAG CARPETS OF THE TIME AND ALTHOUGH THEY ARENT PERFECT THEY ARE EXCELLENT. THE HEADLINER WAS REDONE AND I ASSUME THE VISORS BECAUSE BOTH ARE EXCELENT. THE CAR RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL PHILCO AM RADIO AND IT ACTUALLY STILL PLAYS. THE INTERIOR LITES WORK INCLUDING THE DASH LITES. EVEN THE WOODGRAIN ON THE DASH IS EXCELLENT. THE HEAT AND DEFROSTER WORKS GREAT. THE DOOR PANELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND ARE ORIGINAL MAVERICK PANELS BUT THEY ARE BLACK AND IF I KEPT THE CAR I WOULD REMOVE THEM AND HAVE THEM SPRAYED.  THIS CAR IS RUST FREE. THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS SUPER CLEAN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOME VERY MINOR SURFACE RUST. THE ROCKERS ARE PERFECT AND NOT FULL OF BONDO. THE INNER WHEEL WELLS ARE PERFECT AND THERE ARE NO SOFT SPOTS. THE FLOORS ARE ALSO PREFECT AND AGAIN THERE ARE NO SOFT SPOTS. THE TRUNK PAN IS PERFECT THERE ARE NOT ANY RUST ISSUES. I HAVE SEVERAL WALK AROUND VIDEOS OF THE CAR PLUS SEVERAL VIDEOS OF THE CAR RUNNING. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO FORWARD THEM TO ANY REAL BUYER.
