EXTERIOR
The fabulous Nautic Blue paint is in excellent condition and combined with the distinctive Mercedes grille that gives a striking first impression. The paint has a deep lustful shine and shows only a couple of very small imperfections and the body completely solid and free from corrosion. The captivating chrome is in first rate order free from dents or pitting and all of the rubber and plastic trims and seals are clean and free from scuffs or marks. All of the glass and lights are clear and have remained free from chips or cracks and a Mercedes Benz Club sticker can be found in the top corner of the windscreen. The hardtop is in excellent condition. free from corrosion and the only negative being a hair line scratch that is hardly noticeable. The soft top is perfect and free from any wear to the fabric or discoloration to the plastic windows.

INTERIOR
Step inside this SL and you are welcomed by a classy tan interior which is a perfect contrast to the Nautic Blue paint. There is none of the usual wear to the seat bolsters or checked fabric centres. all the cream carpets are free from wear or staining and the wood trim has no cracks and shows little signs of ageing. The ashtray. glove box lid and all the switch gear works as it should promoting the exceptional built quality in this era of Mercedes. Moving to the centre console there is a standard fit Blaupunkt Melbourne cassette player that still works perfectly. The boot area is very tidy. the spare wheel fitted with a Michelin tyre and right next to it an unopened original first aid kit along with a complete set of MB tools.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The clean and tidy engine bay is a home to the well renowned 3. 0L straight six unit that produces 180bhp. famous for its balance between performance. reliability and refinement. This low mileage example has been very well looked after and still performs in the way Mercedes intended. The auto box noted for its reliability changes effortlessly through the gears providing seamless cruising.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
This R107 is fitted with classic 15 hole 15'' alloy wheels which are in very good condition with only couple of tiny marks to the outside edge. Tyres are four matching Michelins with 8mm tread all around. The brakes deal with car weight with confidence and pull it up in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
The SL comes with a complete service history all stamped in original book. There are a total of 9 main dealer stamps and 1 Mercedes Specialist with a last being done at 32. 77 miles in October 2013 by Mercedes in Maidstone. There is a file of invoices. tax discs and MOT's since 2002 that further back up the service book and low mileage of 32. 83. This SL also still has its original owner manuals and spare key.

The car originally came from Jersey where it was looked after by the same Mercedes dealer untill it was brought over to the UK in 2002 and has been in the hands of the same owner ever since.
