Here we have a genuine Detroit built C-Body mopar 1 of 1124 built as with all mopar convertibles made in small numbers  compared to other models & manufacturers, not many convertible kicking about, its in fare nick for a 50 odd year old motor, it has the 383ci big block police interceptor motor in.Its not perfect but can be improved upon has a couple  of cracks on dutchman panel common problem on mopar cars.......l can send extra photos just ask! Glass all good, drivers seat has split, rear all good trunk is solid, soft top works smoothly & quick no rips, obviously it will need recomissioning, its a nice looking motor chrome & brightwork all good l am open to trades but only yanks & preferably 50s but please try me!!No need to insult me with low ball offers as l wont bite, will just not reply to dreamers, l know the values been into yank motors since 1989 & lost count of how many ive owned shipped & sold......its rare do yourself a favour & a little homework before contacting me, genuine byers will know & im sorry to the genuine people out there. Unregistered £55 & MOT, duties paid & have nova letterAny extra photos just ask & will do best to get them to you asap.

A little history

The Newport was completely redesigned again for 1969, and featured the distinctive "Fuselage Styling" that would become symbolic of Chrysler's full-size cars until the end of the 1973 model year. Although retaining the same 124 in (3,150 mm) wheelbase that it shared with the premium New Yorker, this generation Newport was longer, lower, wider, and several hundred pounds heavier than the 1965–1968 Newports.[15]

Although still offered in 2-door and 4-door hardtop, 2-door convertible, and 4-door sedan models, station wagons were no longer part of the Newport series, as the Town & Country became a separate model outright. Newport convertibles were discontinued after 1970, following a drop in sales of 48 percent that year, to 1124 convertibles; while total Newport sales were down almost 30 percent, to 110,292 units, despite the restyling

it is MOT exempt as over 40 years old

I have found a vehicle l wish to purchase so not wanting trade or px & NO offers from bargain Hunters
