Very comprehensive rebuild over the last few months. This car had been off the road since 2007, but now comes with MoT until May 2022.

Below is a summary of the key work carried out to the car over the past few months. A full breakdown and engine spec can be supplied upon request.

·        Complete professional engine rebuild to +40 (1310cc) with new diff pin and seals in the gearbox and new clutch

·        Aldon Yellow performance distributor (points & condenser type) with better advance curve

·        New brake lines and hoses front to rear, including new discs, pads, shoes, wheel cylinders etc.

·        New alternator

·        New suspension rubbers all round

·        New rear dampers, 2 very good Spax adjustable fronts

·        New Polyflex engine steady bushes

·        New clutch master cylinder

·        New, correct narrow outer sills

·        New battery box

·        New carpets

·        New wheel arch trims and side rubbers

·        New chrome washer jets

·        New dashboard (retro-fitted 3 dial binnacle with added oil pressure gauge)

There is no rot on this car! The car had a considerable amount of bodywork and re-spray around 10 years ago by a Mini garage in Peterborough, however now does have the odd mark and there is one area on the passenger scuttle end where the paint doesn't quite match, however it is solid metal and not full of filler like others you see.

The roof has had new tension cables, and had replacement vinyl (not mohair) at some point in the past which has stretch a little, however the roof is water-tight which is what matters. With these points in mind I have reflected fairly in the price, taking into account the sheer amount of labour, parts and money spent on the rest of the vehicle.

There are receipts of all parts as per above and a comprehensive photo record of the work carried out.

A great little car and 1 of only 1,000 ever made.
