A super rare and sought after early production 1969 Rapier H120 in superb condition.Chassis no:- B391000404DHHOBodywork:-In superb order with the odd blemish consummate with age but no rust whatsoever. The underneath is completely solid, probably the best I have seen.There are no dents to speak of and the paintwork gleams in a lovely shade of green.The vinyl roof has been stripped and checked for any rust(none present) and a new roof applied which really complements the paintwork, debadged and new side stripes applied(originals would be easily applied if not to your taste)The side sills have been re-chromed and as such are superb.Mechanicals:-Has the earlier higher powered version of the Holbay engine.Well here goes, it's had a small fortune spent and many hours of labour.Engine removed, timing chain, tensioner and sprockets replaced.Compression and leak down test and valves regrouned.New fuel pump, pressure regulator and fuel lines(from tank to carbs).Oil and filter(valvoline VR1 20w50)Gearbox oil changed and slave cylinder refurbed)Overdrive works perfectlyDiff oil changedNew thermostat, all coolant hoses and antifreeze replaced.New ramair sock filters(original airbox will go with car)Electronic ignition(no vacuum) with lucas sport coil.All in all the mechanicals are spot on and she drives and stops very well.The brakes have been checked and regreased as necessary.Recent tyres all round and handles extremely well.Interior:-I would describe the Interior as in good condition, a new full carpet set has been fitted and the seats and dash have no rips or damage.Things to do:-The weber 40s need setting up(they always do!) correctly and a rolling road session would ensure its drives beautifully. She runs a tad rich although they have been base line tuned and perform smoothly when cruising and sound great.The horn has just stopped working(all other electrics work) but will be an easy fix.In summary it's a reluctant sale really as I will doubt you will find another H120 in this wonderful condition at this price.I now have the opportunity to buy my dream car(Avenger Tiger) so this is the only reason I'm selling.All the hard work has been done so it's ready to enjoy and show, I haven't seen one in any of the numerous car shows I attend and it always gets lots of positive comments when out and about.Comes with a thick file of history including invoices along with spares which includes badges, airbox etc.Please genuine buyers/enquiries only.Any questions just ask and the kettle is always on for viewing.
