Limited Edition Classic Mini Equinox with electric sunroof

The EquinoX model was a limited edition of 750, so only 250 of this colour were made. (there were 2 other colours available) it has a 1275i engine.

This one is particularly unique as it has an electric sunroof which the original ones didn't have. This is due to the car being re-shelled in 2009.

This lovely little car was my pride and joy but due to ill health I had to stop driving it in 2015.  It has remained covered or garaged ever since, apart from a short journey when I moved in 2016.

Since  I acquired it in 2009 it has always been serviced when it had its MOT and I have receipts to show this.

The body work and paintwork is in need of some TLC as the paintwork on the roof has started to flake off and the lacquer at the front has started to bubble.  There is also bubbling on the shell in the usual places that Minis suffer with it, including round the front indicators and the A panels.  The wipers don't return to the resting place & the battery is flat.  Prior to being covered or garaged, it was also victim to vandalism, by someone keying it and smashing one of the side indicators.  The driver's seat has a couple of splits in the vinyl and the springs have gone in it.  I've tried to show all this in the attached pictures.

Please message me if you have any questions.

I took the car to a Mini specialist in 2009, when I bought it, to have it restored.

However, despite them having the car for nearly a year, I wasn't really happy with the work the garage concerned carried out as I had asked for the car to be restored exactly as it would have been as new.  They recommended that the car would be better off being re-shelled and told me they had a good shell they could use, but it had an electric sunroof, which the EquinoX did'nt have normally. I decided to have the work done, but when the car came back, they had left the roof white, so I had the roof sprayed in amaranth by a local garage.

I have the receipt from them, which shows a breakdown of the work they carried out.
