Classic Rover Mini Racing Green with John Cooper Conversion - Show Car

He we have for sale a wonderful 1990 Rover Mini Racing Green limited edition fitted from new with a John Cooper performance conversion.The car is in show quality condition and is credit to the previous owner who has maintained it to a very high standard. It was professionally restored in 2010, the extensive bare shell restoration consisted of the following......Stripping the car down to components.Shot blasting the shellReplacing outer sills, A panels, door skins and rear valance.Full respray in original colours (Racing green/White roof) in 2 pack paint.Restoring front and rear subframes by shot blasting, zinc coating and powder coating gloss black.Reassembly with restored front and rear subframes with HiLo suspension and adjustable shock absorbers.Repainting engine, service engine, and installing new clutch master cylinder.All new brake system using Cooper S 7.5" brakes, new braided hoses and new pipes.All new fuel systemRebuild of the car using new parts where needed including windscreen rubbers and chrome, door and window seals and new grill and chrome.Original interior fitted back in.The car has been garaged since the restoration and only used on dry days, because of this its in like new condition, there is no rust or rot and it drives faultlessly. The car has MOT till April 2022 (no advisories) and has passed the last 9 MOT's with no advisories.This Mini was fitted from new with a John Cooper performance conversion, which at the time was fully approved by Rover and came complete with a Rover warranty. The conversion included: a Janspeed balanced cylinder head, polished and gas flowed, inlet valve size is increased from 27:76mm to 32mm. Exhaust valve size is increased from 25:40mm to 26mm. Twin 1/4" SU carburettors are fitted on alloy inlet manifold complete with twin K&N air filters. AN LCB exhaust manifold is fitted together with a complete exhaust system. The BHP was increased from 43BHP to 60BHP.The 998cc engine has been serviced and maintained, it had a major service and engine tune up in July 2021 including new water pump and carb rebuild and tune. It pulls really well and has plenty power and the gearbox is very smooth, it sounds amazing due to the twin carbs and is so much fun to drive, the brakes are also excellent.The car comes with two massive folders full of history including the John Cooper garages literature and a full detailed history of the car (written by the previous owner) including details of all previous owners etc.Overall if you are looking for a classic Mini in as new condition to take to shows then this should definitely be considered, it wants for nothing and is ready to be enjoyed.If you want to know anymore about the car please contact me, I'm more than happy to answer any questions, viewing are welcome and the kettle is always on!Many thanks!
