You are looking at my 1957 Chevrolet Belair Nomad wagon. This is quite possibly 1 of the most desirable cars in America right now. Their values have been going thru the ceiling. I have owned many classics and vintage cars over the years and it was my intention to restore this one. I am just not getting around to it so it is time to let it go. This is an all original 1957 nomad that only has 30,000 miles! There are a few ways you could go with this one. You could enjoy it and drive it as the beautiful original car that it is. You could fully restore it to a mint condition classic. Or you could take this beauty and create a monster of a resto-mod. So many options due to its condition and low mileage. It has 30,591 original miles at the time of listing. I have recently purchased some new parts and had a professional mechanic perform some work on it to make it a better driver. I have spent over $10,000 on this vehicle in the last few months. The car had sat for awhile with the previous owner and they had ran regular gasoline thru the engine. For those reasons I decided a proper tune up was in order. Read below to see what we have done to improve the mechanicals. I feel this Nomad is perfect for the Chevy enthusiast who always wanted a classic Tri-Five. This Nomad is ready to go as is. But if you want to take it to the next level then you are in great shape. I am the 3rd owner. I bought it from the family where it had spent it's entire life. It is a numbers matching car. The color code matches the interior and exterior color scheme. Interior is in very good to excellent shape. The exterior is turquoise and ivory. The interior is turquoise and black. Carpet is in very good shape. It was repainted approximately 10 years ago according to the previous owner. Paint is in pretty good condition. Chrome is in pretty good condition. Car is driving well. We have been running aviation 100 low lead fuel in it in order to maintain engine components. The car looks and drives great. It is not in perfect condition. But it is quite possibly one of the nicest examples of an original 1957 Belair Nomad on the road. Not too many original Nomads with 30K miles are still in existence. I am generally conservative when it comes to grading cars. I would rate this Nomad as an overall 8 out of 10. Consider the current values of 1957 Nomads......NADA Book values on 1957 Chevrolet Belair Nomads:Low retail: $74,600Average retail: $115,900High retail: $153,600Here are a list of new parts to consider........... New Parts-New carburetor (matches original carburetor that was removed)-New electric fuel pump-New air cleaner cartridge-New points, rotor, and distributor cap-New spark plugs-New spark plug wires-New radiator (still have original 1957 radiator)-New radiator hoses-New valve cover gaskets-New water pump-New anti-freeze-Oil change-New battery cable-New arm rests-Aviation 100 low lead fuel in tank-Brakes were still good and not in need of replacingThis 1957 Belair Nomad is located in the Columbus, Ohio area.
