For sale is a great example of a 1959 Dodge D100 half ton pickupThe twin headlight late 50s D100 model is getting a rare beast now.
Engine is the Dodge 6. 2 V8 with a 4 speed on the floor gear change with granny gear 1st. Its original bench seat has been replaced by two later type seats. This is a California truck hence its excellent rust free condition. It's a very straight truck all round. It is the long bed so is ideal for hauling your Harley or such like. With exception to the seats. the interior is all nice and original. all gauges and dash are in good order. The truck starts runs and stops ok so really just needs recommissioning . it was last used on the road around 9 months ago. We have just replaced the Electronic Ignition Unit. Distributor pick up . Coil. Distributor cap. Rotor arm and Plug HT leads and she runs well. The engine is quiet and is smoke free. not burning any oil. It would benefit from a service . carb rebuild and fresh petrol to make it spot on. The brakes have had recent work including new brake lines and she stops on a sixpence.  The lights appear not to be working so the wiring will need looking at. The windscreen is cracked but replacements are easily available. All in all a simple straight forward project.  Truck is complete with paperwork enabling simple UK registration . this includes the original US title and the NOVA form showing all duties have been paid. You will need to register this truck for use in the UK. remember it is exempt from an MOT however does need to be road worthy.  So. obviously you cannot drive the truck home. it will require trailering .
