Originally supplied to the Stakis Organisation. subsequently owned by Michaels Vineyard in 1985 and sold to a private owner before us. owners since 2002.

This is our very much cherished Rolls that we have owned for the past 12 years. We bought it because we loved the colour scheme. Of course it needed a little work. but it's an old car and I expected that and a large invoice file comes with it. It has been the perfect vehicle for days out. posh dos and picnics. from the vast boot that accommodated a large wooded table. decent chairs and everything we needed to dine in style.

We attended marvellous events with the enthusiasts club. travelling to the races was transformed and of course we were able to transport family members to their weddings in style. In all of that time we have looked after the car. kept it garaged with dehumidifier. even when SORNED and off the road it has been regularly run and maintained. It is with sadness we now come to sell it. but we use it less and less and need to move on.

Here is a detailed account of our ownership and what we know about the car. It is as honest as I can be with details both good and bad but do ring to discuss further. 07801 305345

Caribbean blue paintwork ICI M151-2242 with beige leather interior VM 3234. fawn cirrus headlining BE173  and dark blue 98 carpets.

Split level air conditioning works as it should giving different temperature controls up and down on feet with low. auto high and defrost settings. The auto or facia vent controls work admirably.

The aircon has been upgraded with modern R134a refrigerant to give ice cold air whenever you want it.  

The original blaupunkt push button radio has been retained in the facia along the speaker balance knob. although this is not connected as the cassette unit below has been replaced by a radio CD player from a more modern rolls. The original retractable aerial still works when radio turned on.

Outside temperature gauge reads accurately in deg c.

Clock keeps good time.

Other dash gauges all work well including fuel. oil pressure. oil level operated by separate push button (although whilst gives a good indication is not terribly accurate) temperature gauge and amp meter.

The warning lights all work - brake pressures fluid level and parking brake.

Engine overheat has never come on as never overheated but presume works! Low coolant is sensitive to slightest drop and washer fluid. stop lamp. low fuel and ice warnings all work.

Remote refuel cap button works.

Panel dim knob works although panel lights are even on brightest setting a little dim for me. Perfectly readable and not dim enough to do anything about it like changing the bulbs!

Lights front and rear fog lamps work and front fogs have the original lucas covers. The plastic shadow 2 fog lights did have signs of aging and have been replaced by beautiful chrome shadow 1 light units in superb condition.

All other lights work as they should. dip. main and side. The flashers are quite quiet as you would expect. they also flash quite quickly. not enough to put it outside an mot pass but have not found a unit that flashes any slower. spare unit included.

Spare fuses also included in fuse box. including large and small glass fuses.

Headlight wipe system works when lights are on and wash / wipe switched on. System overhauled and regreased.

Rain detection works with wipers in intermittent mode. Slow and fast work as does auto parking when switched off. not the most efficient wipers to be honest. but do work as they should.

Cruise  control bellows overhauled. Works perfectly.

Bonnet has all original noise padding still in place and in good condition.

Door wood caps all relaquered and in perfect condition.

Dashboard wood is original and does have some signs of age. but I felt not enough to warrant refurbishment.

Rear seat vanity mirrors / lights and reading lights are perfect.

Central locking from switch on drivers door works.

Seat belts fitted to front seats only as per legal requirements at time. Rear still not needed for mot. but could easily be fitted. Would need to be worn if fitted.

Cigarette lighters and ash trays. front and rear all in unused condition.

All electric windows work quickly and efficiently. the drivers door is slightly quicker than the others due. presumably as it gets more use.

Comes with original chauffeurs key that does not open the yale lock on glove box or boot.

Tool kit is complete and looks unused with spare bulbs. spanners. tyre gauge. adjustable. pliers. RR marked screwdriver and bits and allen key for the spirit of ecstasy. Case does have a few marks on it.

Jack still in case with wheel tools.

Spare tyre unused.

Whitewall tyres all in excellent condition with ??mm front and mm rear.

Luxurious dark blue original lambs wool overmats front and rear. Drivers a little more worn.

Rear blue foot rests as well as mats.

Electric front seat adjustment working perfectly.

Self levelling at rear works with

Remote electric boot and fuel cap locks

Underneath routinely resealed as per workshop schedule.

The car does have an original alarm system on it but has no key to operate it. there is a reference to a remote alarm code in handbook.
