1946 Ford 2 Door sedan Restomod. Original on the outside and amazing on the inside, engine and everything else. 

This is an original paint car with a modern fuel injected drive train and so much more that is ready to go down the highway to your favorite show. Please read through the description as there is so much done and to offer. Car looks original with everything under the shell updated to drive like a newer car.

Engine

4.6 (2009) Ford fuel injected, computer controlled engine. Yes a Ford in a Ford. This installation was professionally done and I have not seen another '46 with a Ford modular engine in it. The engine is a new Jasper warrantied engine with only about 300 miles on it. Every sensor, line, part, gasket, wire on the engine is new.

Overdrive transmission. All rebuilt and all new sensors. Lokar shifter on floor and new leather shifter boot. Lokar dip stick. Yes highway speeds with overdrive.

Jet hot coated headers, Aluminum Champion radiator with electric fan connected to the computer to turn on properly, all new belts, well it is all new everything. Stainless overflow tank.

Hot coated Headers lead to a stainless steel dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers with chrome tips. Oxygen sensors mounted in exhaust for the computer. Sounds great.

The computer is under the dash mounted on an easy access hinged panel and has been tuned. It does have an OBD port. The wire harness to the engine is a Ron Francis harness.

9 inch Ford rear end completely gone through. New balanced rive shaft.

4 Wheel Disc power brakes. Disc brakes all the way around and a new power master cylinder in the original mounting spot. All new lines.

Battery is in the trunk in the old cooler you will see in the pics. New wiring routed and secured to alternator and to starter.

The engine bay is detailed and painted along with under the hood.

New gas tanks and all new lines including the return line. Proper electric fuel pump in tank for this application.

Chassis has been cleaned and painted and is not only rust free, it is spotless.

The underbody has no rust and is cleaned and painted.

All new wire harness throughout car and every light works.

New chrome bumpers and grille. The trim on the entire car is original and in great condition. New trunk handle.

New windshield which is the V butt style with new rubber. New back window rubber. No windows have any cracks and roll up and down.

For the interior, I will put this interior up against anyone's. Sorry, that is not trying to brag, just saying this interior, being all new is done at a very high level. Everything in the interior is new. Seat middle inserts are perforated style and so is the headliner. Seats, headliner, plush carpet, visors, trim paint, door panels, package tray, wind lace, everything is new and done to an extremely high level. The trunk is also upholstered to match and new rubber. Sound deadening under the carpets. Custom console with cup holders.

The dash has Stewart Warner gages and all new chrome. All interior door handles are new. New Grant leather steering wheel. I do have a new stainless column which I was going to put in although haven't got to it and it does go with the car.

The body – yes that is original paint. It is not rubbed to make it look like patina, it is naturally that way. That also means there are no hidden gems being bondo. Very few small rust holes and not in the main areas. Wheel well edges are solid. I have not seen an original body in this good of condition before, that is the reason I bought it and then upgraded everything. The running boards are new metal. I have wanted to paint it but everybody says no way, it is original. Your call whether you like it like this or not, but it is true original Henry Ford metal and amazingly straight and solid.

Suspension is updated and lowered 2 inches with a kit from Speedway. It now has parallel leafs in the back and a new leaf spring in the front along with new normal style shocks. The steering box has been rebuilt and the car drives great.

New Vision aluminum wheels and tires and balanced.

An amazing car to drive, dependable, comfortable, powerful, sounds great and ready to go anywhere as everything interior, suspension, brakes and power train is new and modern, along with the chrome and all with high level components, especially the interior and all with quality work. I really don't think you will see another fuel injected Ford engine in a car like this.
