I am selling this car for my dear friend who lives in New Jersey near NYC.  I am currently living and working in New York. My friend bought this car just over two years ago from the widow of its previous owner.  The car was restored over 40 years ago and we have some photos of the restoration.  The car was not rotten and even today is totally original and rust free.  It has all the original floor panels and sills with no sign of rust.  We replaced the clutch master cylinder that had leaked and this removed some paint in the floor panel and edge of sill - thus revealing original primer and totally rust free metalwork. The body of the car is very straight with good door lines etc.  The paint now 40 years old is solid and in excellent condition although it is a little flat.  It would certainly benefit from a compounding and Polish.  My friend is 83 and has not done this.   He bought the car to use whilst his other car was being restored - another 1969 OTS.  I have driven this car and it drives really well.  Steering is tight, suspension excellent with no knocks nor bangs and the engine is smooth and powerful.  Starts well with no tapping noises and no smoke.  It's a low mileage car and the engine and transmission are matching numbers all original and in excellent condition.   Ive owned a few e types and this drives better than those. The oil pressure is excellent - see photo whilst driving and all gauges Inc rev counter works.  we fitted a brand new battery and holder.    We replaced both master and slave clutch cylinders and the clutch is smooth and easy to operate. The interior is original and looks a little tired particularly the arm rest and drivers seat Base.    It can be driven as an excellent drivers car as is or the new owner may decide to replace the leather.  The buyer is responsible for shipping but as I am in the USA I can help with this and have shipped several cars for myself in the past to the UK.  The shipping will cost approx £3000 with port fees.   The import duties will be only 5% vat and no duty as it's a returning UK car and historic.  Please feel free to message me for more details.   My friend is 83 and doesn't have eBay Best Regards Ian
