Porsche 944 S2My dad was the 10th owner of this car with my mum being the current owner. It has been garaged since he bought it in 2009 with approx 134,000 miles. He only did approx 10,000 miles during his 11 year ownership. My dad was a great mechanic, not so hot on paint and bodywork, but whatever the car needed in order to perform and be reliable was always done.It has a sill kit fitted to cover the rust to the sills, the good news is this is plastic and riveted/screwed on, so if the new owner wants to repair it to factory condition there are no bad welds or botched repairs to deal with. The car drives fine and passed it's recent MOT with 4 advisories. Most of it works as it should but I have noticed the following faults.Bad BitsPassenger seat - some of the stitching has given up, the leather is not torn, just the stitching - shown in the video.Drivers Seat - some of the stitching has given up, the leather is not torn, just the stitching.Electric Boot Release - The gas struts on the boot don't work so I don't know if the boot release button doesn't work due to this or an electric fault, nothing happens when the button is pressed and you need to use the key to open the boot.Glove Box - Stays closed but if the key is inserted the whole barrel of the lock comes out with the key. Unless you catch it as it opens the weight of it makes the plastic support that keeps it level, pop out.Paintwork - A bit rough in places (sills, front bumper/wings), some small scratches and bubbling elsewhere.Wheels - Refurbished with spray paint, so could probably do with a full powdercoat restoration.Drivers side front tyre has a very slow air leak.Good BitsElectric roof and pop up lights work, can be seen in the video. No oil or other fluid leaks, according to the garage floor and engine bay.£400 Momo quick release steering wheel fitted to aid tall or disabled drivers in getting in and out, which is also great anti theft device.Original steering wheel is included and in great condition.Electric mirror adjustment - both work.Electric Seat adjustment - both work.Electric Windows - both work. All interior and exterior lights work.Radio Cassette Player and all 4 speakers work.Electric Clock works.Alarm Works.Central locking works.Interior leather seats in really nice condition other than a few broken stitches on the drivers and passenger seat.Owners Manual.Replacement Guarantee and Maintenance Book with partial service history from approx 17.000 miles.Old MOT certificates from 2007 - Present.Bunch of Parts receipts.2 Sets of Keys.I found this hand written list of the parts replaced during his ownership, so all these have less than 7,000 miles on them:Power Steering Rack - 2014Front Wheel Bearings + 4 New Toyo Tyres - 2014Stainless Steel Back Box - 2014Cam belt, Balance belt, Chain and Pump - 2015Alternator Belt and Adjuster - 2015Handbrake Cables, Springs, Shows and Adjusters - 2015Rear Brake Discs, Pads and Sensors - 2015Nearside and Offside sills (Kit) - 2016Track Rod Ends and Boots - 2018MOT Advisories    Fuel pipe/s corroded.    Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gasses Front (exhaust pipe)    Nearside Front (front floor has corrosion)    Offside Front (floor has corrosion)The exhaust leak is at a clamp type joint, needs cleaned and some sealant on reassembly as parts are in good order. The floor corrosion is to the protective sub floor covering the pipes and cables.I have priced this appreciating classic to sell as only approx 1700 of these cars were made in 1991, the last production year of the 944 before the model was replaced by the 968, so this is as good as the 944 ever got. Only 198 of these final production year cars are Licensed on the road in the UK, using the latest numbers from the DVLA. I have observed many sellers quoting their 1990/91 Cabrios to be a 3.0L, none of them are, this is correctly advertised as a 2.9 (2967cc) as stated in the log book.Considering Porsches usually come in Red, White or Black, that makes this original Cobalt Metallic Blue version with black hood and black leather interior a bit special and one of the coolest looking 944's I have seen.Payment by Cash or Bank Transfer only. Two You Tube videos availablehttps://youtu.be/N-tNI_8kBukhttps://youtu.be/sWlk7LmYfjM
