For SALE!!! 1979 Grand Prix White PORSCHE 911 SC COUPE. 135. 00 Miles. Left-hand drive. Alloy Wheels. Power Windows. Sunroof. AM/FM Stereo. CD Player. Full Service History. V5 Reg. September 2014 MOT. The car looks like a standard 911 SC apart from it has been (sensibly) lowered. However this is no ordinary 911. It is Left Hand Drive and was imported from Germany in 1998. It has been modified from the standard 3. 0 litres to 3. 2 litres. It has stainless SSC exhausts. It has had all the air recirculation system removed. tuned cams installed. a short shift kit fitted. hydraulic tensioners and a strut brace. It is a very fast early 911 with an amazing exhaust note that drives very well. Around town or at slow speeds you would not know it was not standard. It also has a Momo steering wheel and gear knob (original steering wheel also included). Turbo track rod ends. new brake callipers. discs and stainless hoses all round. It was re sprayed a few years ago professionally with a full glass out and panels off re spray. The body shop owner took it on as a bit of a personal project having owned and restored many Porsches himself and commented that he had not seen such a solid car in a long time. The paint work has a really nice deep shine as it has been stored covered in a garage and has had very little use in the last few years. The respray was purely for a cosmetic refresh and not due to any sort of damage or corrosion issues. Ultra-rare 7 and 9 by 16 inch Fuchs alloys. The 7's are fairly easy to find but 9's are very very rare. They have the same great deep dish as the 8 inch Fuchs but have an extra inch on the inside allowing extra wide tyres to be fitted. It was registered in late 1979 so is a 1980 model car. The car has covered 218054 Kilometres (Approx. 135000 Miles) which is only an average of 4000 miles per year. The car drives very well though and it is clear it has been looked after. The car has electric windows. mirrors and sunroof and is fitted with central locking. It has an Alpine and Infinity stereo fitted with the speakers mounted in a custom rear shelf. The interior has not been modified in anyway though and the original parcel shelf and seats are included in the sale. It is a very easy job to swap these back. The interior is in excellent condition. The dash board has no cracks or marks and the cabin is a really nice place to be as it is all black and really suits the contrast with the white exterior. It is good to run cost wise and cheap to insure on a classic policy.
