Blue 1975 MGB Roadster, chrome bumpers and overdrive in good condition.

Despite being of an age where an MOT isn't required, I have just had it MOT'd which will hopefully provide confidence that it is a good, roadworthy car.

Mechanically both engine and gearbox perform well, and it has been regularly serviced.  The bodywork is solid, with good underseal protection.

There are a few jobs that whilst not essential would complete the car to a first class condition:

Boot lid is solid but paintwork is a bit flat and either requires a respray or polishing by a good detailer.  See pictureThe only rust I am aware of is some surface bubbling along the rear offside wing weld line.  I'm afraid car bodywork is not in my comfort zone so I have just treated and touched up but it would benefit from some attention (not urgent it is solid!).  See pictureThe driver seat back cover is in need of replacement.   Replacement covers are included - I replaced the seat base covers last year but at the time the backs were fine so I didn't replace the backs (hence I have the covers ready to fit).  See pictureThe car passed its MOT fine and has 12 months cover (although there is no need to MOT a car of this age).  However, as always there were a couple of advisories which will need attention in due course (details available through the MOT online lookup - registration is MGK 539P)

Four years ago, I bought the MG from an MG specialist who was selling it following a major restoration (I have pictures taken during the restoration a few of which are attached in the advert).

I have tried to be clear on what needs doing as this is a very genuine car that, with a bit of work, will be an excellent example.

In my time it has only been used occasionally, particularly over the last 18 months, and has always been reliable and thoroughly enjoyable to drive.

The interior has black seats with blue piping, with matching mats and blue seat belts.

Originally a rubber bumper, 1975, car, it has been converted to the more attractive chrome bumpers.   The wheels are also period appropriate minilite alloys.
