1968 Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato 1.3s rolling project running and driving

For sale my 1968 Lancia Fulvia sport zagato 1.3s. The car starts and runs, but has some rust to the body work that needs sorting, as well as some general recommissioning work. I bought the car recently without viewing as it was located in northern Scotland, when the car arrived I realised its quite small for me and I'm not sure I'll want to use it enough to warrant putting the hours in. Ive never seen one in the flesh before, but am a huge Italian car fan so thought it was worth a go. Its a very early phase 1 car with aluminum bonnet and doors - very rare especially in RDH. The car was last MOT'd a few years ago, but is TAX and MOT exempt so can legally be driven as long as the owner takes responsibility for road worthiness. The last owner was building the car to enter historic hill climbs with his daughter, but didn't get around to finishing the project, with the car laying dormant for a few years. The interior had been completely stripped, but is mostly complete and with the car ready to be refitted - I am gradually working my way through doing it so depending on when you view it may be more complete. The engine has been rebuilt by omicron engineering in 2016 and has only covered 1000 miles or so since the build. The engine was fitted with fast road cams, and a group 4 exhaust and headers so should be good for north of 100bhp. The engine didn't run when I bought it, but I have since drained the old fuel out of the system and cleaned out the carbs, fitted a new 123 electronic ignition, uprated plugs and leads and it now she runs really well - revs cleanly to the red line and is a lot faster than a 1.3 engine should be. It's really impressive, and sounds brutal! Suspension and brakes seem to work fine, I have driven it for about 50 miles and the car was great - it needs the heater refitting (included) and a oil leak fixing (think its the oil cooler). Realistically the car could be used and enjoyed as is and restored gradually one panel at a time. If your really brave you could even drive it home now I've gone through it. The car comes with a lot of receipts, and some history, as well as some spares:Interior carpets, trims etc. including fiberglass boot liningoriginal headlights & surrounds123 electronic ignition (brand new), new HT leads and spark plugs14' campagnolo wheels with brand new period Michelle tyres. Bad bits - the body needs a fair bit of attention, bubbles on most panels that are sortable, but lower wings on the front and 1 rear are in a bad way. The rear of the roof panel will also likely need some welding. Onicron manufacture these panels so not actually a bad job for someone who is handy with a welder. The good news is the structure of the car is solid, with new floor panels being fitted in recent years, and cills/mounting points all good.
