Up for sale we have a 1959 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Post. In '59 Chevy gave the car an all new look with a wider stance and large fins in the rear. They had more room inside than any other Chevy. Chevy along with the other big company's made a statement that big is better. The one we have for you has had a lot of upgrades done and can be cruised anywhere. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. The body on this '59 is rock solid with great lines. When you look down the sides it's straight as an arrow. Everything is covered in the factory two tone color scheme Crown Sapphire and White. It has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous finish that's slick to the touch. The stainless is in excellent condition and has a brilliant shine. The bumpers appear to have been replaced and are equally impressive. At the time of the resto they replaced all the weather stripping. All the glass also looks very good as well. This car has had a sheltered life and has not spent many nights outside. It was built to cruise and as the previous owner has taken it from here in East TN and drove the Cruisin the Coat 5 separate times. The stance comes from the factory style painted steel wheels with hub caps and new tires. Next, we will look at the interior of the '59. On the inside it has a stock feel with the the correct seats and covers. It's done in the two tone color scheme that provides a gorgeous accent to the exterior color scheme. The carpet has built in mats on the sides which you don't get to see very often anymore. The dash is correct with exception of the radio that has been upgraded and has bluetooth. We can also see that it has had cruise control added and that the rearview mirror and back up camera. The interior of this Bel Air makes for a great ride when you're on the highway. Inside the trunk is all in excellent condition as well and is detailed out with the factory style mat and spare. Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by the 330 Horsepower 350 Crate engine that's mated to the 700R4 Automatic Transmission. The 350 is dressed with all new valve covers and air cleaner. We can also see it has the polished intake and four barrel carburetor. It comes with the front runner serpentine belt system with polished alternator and polished compressor for the Air Condition. Along with having AC it also comes with Power Steering and Power Brakes with Disc on the front and Drums outback. For exhaust it has headers with dual pipes and new mufflers. When you look under it you can see the floors and frame are all in great condition with the floors being undercoated. On the highway you couldn't ask for a better cruiser as it handles with ease and has plenty of power. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
