Here we have a Highly Desirable, wonderfully driving and stunning to look at 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. It underwent a cosmetic and mechanical restoration 20 + years ago but has since been garaged kept and well cared for. It houses a period correct 265ci V-8 engine with external oil filter, paired with a 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission,power steering, power brakes, 3.55: 1 rear end gear ratio. The car has been repainted its original color combination of Gypsy red and Shoreline beige with beige and red vinyl interior. It features radial tires, dual exhaust, power top, all the gauges, clock, radio, and lights appear to work as they should. In the trunk you will find the rubber mat, convertible top boot, full size spare, and jack, nicely housed in a rust free clean fully painted compartment. The underside of the car appears to have the original floor pans, in rust free good shape, although minor detailing would make it look new. The paint and body panels look very good, and the paint has a high gloss finish complimenting the professional body work that was done at the time of restoration. The engine bay is tastefully detailed and extremely clean. This car has the beautiful iconic style of the mid-fifties nostalgia and retains the original look throughout. Payment Methods

Certified check, bank transfers, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Deposit

Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of purchase via eBay to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The remainder is due within 7 days If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Shipping

WE CAN ASSIST IN WORLDWIDE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Successful Bidder

Non-Paying Bidder

If the deposit is not received within 3 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. ​
