Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool 1958 MG MGA Fixed Head Coupe (FHC).  Perfectly suited for a weekend of pure British motoring with room for a companion!  This is the rare Coupe with flowing lines that are beautiful from every angle.  .

Part of the British sports car invasion of the 50's and 60's and well known to collectors and vintage racers alike, the MGA is fun to drive, inexpensive to operate and an appreciating asset in your portfolio.

As our GI's returned from Europe, demand was high for sporting automobiles. On the top of the list were MGs, Alpines, Triumphs, Austin Healey's and Jaguars. MGs sold well and were much loved by their owners. That kind of love kept this one in great shape. Driving a classic British sports car is one of those automotive experiences that stays with you.

Currently in “driver plus” condition, this great MGA runs and drives awesome.  Sporting a later 1800 cc engine, she's quick.

Rarity

Most MGA's were produced as convertibles. Coupes drew buyers with sporting desires and provided a cheaper alternative to the Jaguar 120. The MGA is a rare sight to see outside of a British car meet.  This is the FHC, a limited model of a low production series.

Exterior

Nice paint looks newer.  Some flaws are evident.  See the photos and video.  Chrome is nice.  Correct wheels and newer tyres. The car presents beautifully.

Floors/Rust damage

The floors are wood and in good shape.  Check the pics. Few British cars have metal this nice.  Check the photos or better yet, come see the car in person.

Wheels, Tires

Nice OG wheels with newer tyres are in place.

Engine

4 Cylinder British hotrod. She sports an upgraded 1800cc MG engine with dual carburetors, Freshly serviced. Nice exhaust note. Runs well.

Transmission

4 Speed Manual transmission is smooth and responsive.

Braking, Steering

Operating properly.  Steering is on point.

Trim

The chrome trim is in good shape. Some minor pitting and wear can be seen, see pics and video. Emblems are in driver plus condition.

Glass

The glass is in good condition.

Interior

Nice Biscuit seats, Carpets and door panels are nice. Beautiful dash. OG Banjo wheel. Gauges.

Boot

Excellent condition.  Trimmed and finished. Spare tire cover. Spare tire.

Comparables

There are very few comparable MGA cars for sale at this time and fewer still Fixed Head Coupes that are not in need of work before they can be enjoyed.  Factor that in and it becomes a very short list.  Given the extreme scarcity of available cars, this one represents an outstanding value that can be enjoyed immediately as well as being an appreciating investment in automotive art for your portfolio.
