Factory options include: 350 / 300 hp engine (now built to 350 hp spec), 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear end, side exhaust, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, t-tops, removable rear window, AM/FM radio, 7000 rpm tach, 160 mph speedo, rally wheels, etc.

The car has been in the hands of the same owner for the last 15 years and in years 2008 – 2012, the car received a well-executed, ground up (frame on) restoration. The original 350 / 300 hp engine was fully rebuilt to 350 hp spec by the skillful hands of Performance Engineering of Jenison MI in 2011. A L 82 camshaft was installed, the original camel hump heads have been ported and polished, L 82 valve covers, a correct service replacement 350 / 350 Quadrajet carb were all implemented in the rebuild. The original points distributer was professionally curved and original water-pump was rebuilt. Other services at time of restoration included: Bumpers re-chromed radiator support removed, blasted and powder coated radiator re-cored new heater core new shocks front and rear new wheel bearings all around trailing arms professionally rebuilt with new bolt and shim kit professionally aligned by Corvette specialist new drive and half shaft u-joints new brakes with rebuilt front calipers new barking brake assembly adjusted properly factory side pipe cover cores rebuilt rebuilt shifter assembly all new or rebuilt power steering components new fuel pump, lines and hoses correct temp sensor installed, etc.

The performance and drivability of this Corvette is amazing. The car pulls strong in every gear, it shifts excellent, the suspension is tight with no suspension play or rattles, the steering is tight and responsive, and the braking is true and predictable. Small block Corvettes are known as a 'driver's car', and the car presented here is one of the best driving third gen Corvettes to grace our floor.

The chrome bumper C 3 Corvettes are hitting their stride in the collector car world. Just as prior Corvette generations, values are climbing quickly, and early C 3's are highly sought after. The car here, is a high-quality example where the structural integrity has never been compromised.

According to the owner, the car still retains the numbers matching engine, transmission and chassis.
