I am listing this cool old 1955 Chevy for a aging buddy whos health is declining. When he bought the car it was Army green from when it was owned from the USA Army he said it was a one star General car and even had the star on the door. He has been restoring the car since he bought it. He has done 99% of the work himself. He did all new floor pans, also new trunk pan, the body and paint was done several years ago, its not show quality but is parade quality. The engine has not been rebuilt that he knows of, it it a 6cyl and 3 on the tree transmission. it drives down the road good and will run 75 mph with no problems. He did install a aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan. Cool retro wheels and tires were added. He did all new weather-strip around all the door and trunk. New Exhaust, brakes were rebuilt on all four corners including wheel cylinders, new head liner, door panels and seat covers also brand new front and rear bumpers were added. The guy has spent a ton of money and time making this a pretty cool old car. It fires right up and drives out good. There is not enough comparable examples to know what a 4 door 55 is worth. if its a 2 door it worth a fortune. This car is located in McPherson Kansas, of course it has a clean title in his name.
