1964 Split Screen VW T2 camper van for sale

LHD,Type 2,VW split screen – ABM 569B (Chassis number 2750023957) - came off the Wurzburg production line on September 16th 1964.We have owned the vehicle since 2004.

Originally commissioned as a Swedish army ambulance, it was imported into the UK on 09.10.2001.

It has a 1641 c.c.Remtec VW reconditioned engine (Engine Number: ADR4458) fitted on 17.09.2010 at 22,291 kilometres, and has now done 37,395 kilometres (i.e. done 15,104 kilometres since then.)

A rebuilt gearbox with altered gear ratios to improve cruising was installed on 03.06.2011.

It has benefitted from a full re-spray in pale green.

The interior has a full width rock and roll bed and the interior is in excellent condition. It has a CD & radio stereo system.

Throughout our ownership the vehicle has been professionallymaintained and serviced.
