Stunning Karmann Ghia for sale.

It had a body off restoration in 2012 at the time most of the lower panels were replaced, including floor pans, sills, lower wing/wheel arches, rear apron, rear inner wings. The heater channels were custom made out of 2 inch box section so the body doesn't flex if it's jacked up enevenly, like so many of them do.

The paint is Renault Clio Sport pearlescent yellow and gets a lot of attention. I've used it since 2015 as a daily driver for 8 months of all those years so there are a few areas that could do with attention at some time, which I hope the photos show.

Window and door seals were replaced with the resto as well as many other parts.

It is rock solid underneath.

I have kept it MOT'd even though it would be exempt. Tax exempt as well.

The 1600cc engine runs really well and has twin Dellorto 36 carburettors and a Autocraft stainless steel exhaust. There aren't any heat exchangers with this type of exhaust, so no heating.

It's lowered on dropped spindles so the ride is comfortable and stops well on the drilled front disc brakes. The hubs are all Porsche pattern and there are Porsche replica Fuchs wheels (4.5inch front, 5.5inch rear). The spare wheel is the same as the rear.

There are leather front seats from a Saab93, and a very good headliner and a bespoke carpet set.

Bumpers are fibreglass and have been fitted close to the body. Totally different to how standard cars are! Front indicators and rear lights are custom.
