This is the original style and shape beach buggy and if you know about beach buggy's, you will know what you are looking at.

Restored around 6 years ago and dry stored since, excluding last 12 months, which was under a rainproof cover on the driveway when the garage was knocked down! Needs to go now as we need the space and I don't use it.

The car has a few minor marks and is not perfect, so I would advise viewing before bidding unless you want a video or more photo's, which i am very happy to do.

Empi Sprint star repro wheels, tyres with plenty of tread on.

coilover spring shocks on rear

new brakes all round, new rear wheel bearings and electronic ignition with new carb, plugs and leads done in 2019 and hardly driven since due to lockdowns etc.

re-trimmed cream leatherette interior and black full carpets by Trimania.

Finished in candy apple Metallic with chrome lights and bullet mirrors.

Twin canon exhaust.

Black period plates.

4 seater with rear seat belts.

Full weather gear roof and removable sides.

I am on holiday from Monday 23rd August, so needs to be collected before then (or £1000 deposit via paypal and collection after the 1st September) I would suggest a trailer/tow dolly to collect it, as it hasn't been driven for well over a year, except for up and down a private road, so would be sensible to have it checked over, although starts on the button, no problems.

I have tried to be ultra cautious in my description, to paint a true picture, but if you are unsure do not bid or view first.

UPDATES...To answer a few questions....

The original manufacturer date was 1959 in the logbook. The logbook reg date is 1/12/1984, which is when I believe it was converted to a buggy from the chassis of a 1959 1300cc beetle.

The reg doc states Volkswagen and under body type - convertible.

The taxation class is historic vehicle.

I have owned the buggy since 22/5/2013. Previous owner had owned it for 10 years before me.

I can also provide quite a few bills and receipts with the sale.
